Yeah I'm finding the original wigs unruly. I've got to get some new wigs and try them out, I'm thinking of making my girls still dress like geisha but all have different hair styles and kimono's just to shake it up a bit and provide contrast to the motoko version! Which I still haven't received yet Though I managed to pick up another Motoko version for 10000 yen so I'm pretty pleased, cant wait to dress them all up, I only need one Motoko so any extra I pick up of her I'll dress up in Kimono, so let me know if anyone wants the extra clothes for their Hadaly So far I've only got my three Hadaly on display, a new in box one under my bed (deciding whether to bring her out) and two Motoko's on the way! Perhaps went a little overboard on collecting them, but I love them all so much!

Yes please, I would love to pick up extra Motoko clothes from ya! My partner and I each have the kimono version, having the vest/gun to go along would be amazing.

Congrats on the great deal for your Motoko, that's a hell of a find! Can't wait until you receive em, I'm still super curious to learn if there are any differences between the sculpts at all (or if Motoko just has a random hole in the side of her head where Hadaly's flower goes).

 

From what I've read, I think the two main differences are the costume and the fact motoko doesn't have a flower hole hahaha but I won't know for sure till I receive them in person. I'll post some photos to compare when I get one of the motokos.

 

Just wondering if anyone else had picked up Gabriel??? (Also tried to balance a Lati Green wig on my girl haha, its a little big though )

 

Also borrowed my YOSD girls formydoll wig and it seems to fit okay, the flower does make it difficult to position and I'm thinking I might buy a couple YOSD wigs and edit them to allow for the flower.

 

My Motoko Version came! But she's completely brand new! Pretty good deal for $200. I'm going to keep her sealed with my sealed Hadaly. I have another Motoko version on the way!

I have 3 girls on display and two in their boxes But I have some others on their way. I found two for $50 each but I'm not sure what condition they are in I'll post pictures when they arrive!

 

My other Motoko girl came today! She's very poorly strung though so I'll have to work on that when I get a chance.



So far the differences I've notices is that right hand is cast differently so she can hold the gun (which is made of heavy resin)
Obviously the clothes are different too, the jacket is made of a light material, but seems decently made.



The head is the same, the flower hole is still present, which is good I suppose if I want to have mulitple Hadalys that were Motoko's.



I set Motoko up downside the Hadaly's for now, she needs a new wig and to be strung but I'm glad she is here safe.

I guess it was cheaper to do? I've got one more girl on the way at the moment. One of girls I had bought ended up getting cancelled I can't remember what edition she is, so we shall see when she gets here.

 

I dug around in my doll bits and bobs today and found a dress and a wig that fits her! So I took some snaps in the garden to show off her unique odds and ends look

 

Another dig through my doll collection lead me to find some clothes and a wig! 5inches seems to fit well.

 

New year, New post. I opened up my girls head today(after finally finding a small screwdriver);

The eyes can be repositioned because of the long stick on the back, they are kept in by the plate shown in the first picture which is screwed in place.


This gives way to many different emotions.

Yes similar! I've been trying to hunt down some eyes with the stick to see if I can swap them out to make the girls a little more unique. I might have to commission some or make some myself.

 

Has anyone ever seen one of these repainted? I'd love to add one to my GITS collection, but the lipstick always bothered me.

 

I remember seeing a YouTube video where the girl said she was modding the doll to have eyelashes, I'm not sure what else she did.
