1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Girls Loving Girls

Nov 9, 2007

    1. Thats a beautiful Photoshoot! Darn I want a Narae sooo badly!!

Me personally I am all for most choices of sexual orientation, boy on boy, girl on girl, boys on girls on boys whatever.... I am very open minded and find something about female romances to be somewhat a second nature to the essense of femininity, its funny but I saw the lovliest photoshoot today of two MNF Shushu's with a romantic undertone and it was very tastefull and you could feel what the photographer was trying to pervay... a sense of a deeper bond WITHOUT having to show an obvious physical attachment, it was beautiful... *loving girl love*

I do however have MAJOR issues with anything sexual relating to mature + underage combinations.... As I'm sure we all do!!

    2. I am reviving this with some girlxgirl love! I have three lesbian dollies (well... kinda): Suke is most definitely a lesbian, as is Kherington. Clementine, I think, just has no inhibitions when it comes to sex... and she's a bit of a skank...

I think that there is no difference between the boyxboy group and the girlxgirl group (or the het group for that matter), just the quantity. In all honesty, I get just at giddy when reading frozen wings' Shuro and Noah confess their love as I do when see those wonderful little pink hearts icons in the gallery. I personally am a lesbian. And while I prefer seeing a couple of chicks get lovey-dovey, I am content to experience the same story with two men. I try not to focus on gender, but instead the circumstances of these two characters' love.

That being said, I wouldn't really mind seeing more girlxgirl couples out there ::sweat I have to take more pictures of my little lovebirds to compensate for the lack thereof!

    3. I think that the reason femalexfemale relations are not as common is because the larger majority of dollfie owners are straight females. Most of them would not find interest in it, thus I think it is less popular.

My girlfriend and I have a pair that we will be getting later on. They are twin sisters, and they are in their late forties. One is similar to a burlesque dancer, and the other is a geisha. Both of which I consider to be very tasteful women. The only catch is, they are mature women, not girls.

    4. I dislike yaoi with dolls, not because of the fact that it's two men, but the fact that it overshadows any girl x girl or other LGBTQIA+ pairing in every one of my hobby and interests communities.

EDIT: Just to be clearer with my vague statements, I have absolutely no hate for any sort of homosexual relationship, male or female. I'm just not a fan of the annoying minority portion of "yaoi fangirls". There is nothing wrong with liking yaoi pairings or any sort of LGBTQIA+ pairings. c:

    5. Sometimes I think it's a little odd that people will say they dislike malexmale pairings because they think it's overdone and that half of the people who do those types of pairing with their dolls are doing so because they think it's trendy and cool. So they say they would like to make themselves or would like to see more femalexfemale doll pairings because you see it so rarely and it would be different. Um, isn't that basically the same thing? Creating a girlxgirl pairing for the sake of it being different and on the opposite spectrum of boyxboy pairs? It just strikes me as a little bit odd.

Either way, personally, if it's well done, I think a girlxgirl pairing is just as cute as a well done boyxboy pairing. I don't see why the gender of who's in the relationship should make any difference as to whether or not I actually like the dolls/characters themselves and the dynamics between them.

    9. I had actually wanted a boyxboy doll pairing, just kinda as an excuse to have some adawwhhhable boy cuddles at my place, but then I laid my eyes on Angell-Region Andrea and instantly, her story came to me, complete with very feminine partner. ^.^ Yes, I know the head's on a guy body. Personally, I think someone had been sniffing a little too much Mr. Super Clear when they stuck Andrea's head on a guy's mold. XD It's all about how a particular character evolves or speaks to me; this girl said, "Magic user, bookish, slender and pragmatic--oh, and highly succeptable to gorgeous doe-eyed supernatural guardians, FYI." It all worked out quite well, because now I have an excuse to get a DZ Orlando. ;) In looking for two male characters to be together, I haven't had that moment where things "click" yet.

In my opinion, yeah, you see a lot of guyxguy pairings. Why? Because, at least as far as I can tell, many of us are heterosexual women (not generalizing, just making an educated guess). Much as heterosexual men find girly love drool-worthy, so do we find boy's love. I'm not saying it's as simple as all that, mind you, but that is where some of the base appeal comes from.

    10. If I ever end up with any dolly romances, I will certainly most likely have them be girl/girl since I plan on only ever having girl dolls; I actually *love* this kind of romance because it hits really close to home with me and it's just so sweet; And cute, etc.

    11. :) Nothing wrong with girlxgirl, it's just that girls tend to prefer Yaoi, just likes dudes tend to prefer Yuri. It's more of a fascination thing, I guess.

    12. I have boyxboy pairings and girlxgirl pairings, in FACT, I don't own a straight doll (the children don't count), I can't honestly say why other people don't post them more, but for me, it's because I get HUGE amounts of hassle from photobucket/flickr/DA when I put their pictures up and nothing whatsoever when I put up the boys together. There are people on DA who actually watch both mine and my friends accounts purely so that they can report any images of our girls together, that's how bad it's got.

I'd love to show them off more, but everywhere we try to do so, we tend to get banned, so now we don't bother. *shrug*

    13. You should open a flickr account. I have one and have yet to have a picture removed. Even full on nudity does not bother flickr. As for photobucket - isn't there a way to mark it "adult" and you must sign it to view it?

    14. Why would you get hassle from Flickr? I know lots of people who post artistic nudes there and they don't get hassle, the photos just get filtered out for people under 18.

    15. I have no idea why they got removed, they just did *shrug*
