I just posted some pictures of my girls, thought you might be interested ^^;
I tend to keep my pictures kind of subtle and avoid to show off sexual interaction between them (don't think my girls would approve of me doing that ^^;;; )
Most of the time, people are kind of unsure about what's going on between them, but that's just fine with me...
I don't understand why someone would make a fuss about Yuri/Yaoi pictures...

Well my girls will be lovers. Might be untraditional but that's who they are. One of them has a daughter on the way too. Long story. And not the right place for it heh. In any case I guess since there is a huge lot of boys, perhaps that's why yaoi is more popular.

Wuhuuu for girl x girl!

I got two mini girls who look soooo adorable together. They arrived about the same time, and was my christmas presents so they spent a lot of "quality-time" together, naked, in a box of bubblewrap, while waiting for christmas... So it sort of ended up like that.

They are more shoujo-ai though, since they are so tender and innocent.

I've noticed a slow change in my opinions on this. I've stated earlier in this thread that I like all sorts of relationships (which of course I still do), but I've found myself liking girl/girl relationships much more. I don't even read much yaoi these days, it's all yuri. And I honestly think that this is partially caused by my own life - the more comfortable I get with my own sexuality, the more I become comfortable with different types of relationships. I now have several girl/girl couples, or girls that are waiting for their matches.

I really need to get on taking pictures.

Well considering the majority of us here are girls, some people may be homophobs or feel weird about seeing a girlxgirl romance. I mean, I for one don't favor that, but love is love, you know?

 

While I personally prefer yaoi over yuri, I do not see anything wrong with yuri.
By all means, if you want to have to female dolls in a girlxgirl relationship, go for it. :]

I find it odd and amusing that we are trying to find more girl x girl doll couples because boy x boy is everywhere, whereas in mainstream media (ie tv, certain types of magazines, posters, etc) girl x girl is considered "hot" by a lot of guys and boy x boy is "sick." Well, at least around where I live. (Excuse me if this is off topic.)

I find that a lot, too. I think it's because authors writing about girls, photographers, artists, etc., all realize that in our sadly jaded society, that "sexing up" the girls will sell. I think that's also part of the reason why boy love stories are made all soft and sweet - it makes it "non-threatening", so that people won't freak out.

It's sadly all homophobia, I think... girls can be hot because they're non-threatening, and plus then men can think "Oh, look, they're so lonely without a man, they're together," whereas with two guys, a lot of people's hackles go up. So make the boys pretty and sweet and non-threatening, and everyone feels good.

Grr. Girl/girl can be sweet and cute and not all about the cheesecake too, but you never get to see it.

 

@Half.Jak: I have to disagree. A lot. There, indeed, are really romantic and realistic girlxgirl magas, as, f.ex. free soul or love my life which are absolutely amazing and don't have that "OMG! Two girls having sex! Wow!" thing about them, just showing realistic relationships between girls o.o If you don't look for it, frankly, you won't find any.... There is just as much "hot and all about the sex and stuff"-Yaoi there, as there is romantic Yuri stories...
And I think there are "real" BJD girl couples out there, that aren't there just for the kicks, either. I wouldn't consider my Haley and Néva as the usual nosebleed-yuri-stuff-couple.

This is an interesting topic. I'm a guy, and I find girl/girl relationships quite appealing. Now think what you want, I know hormones play a part in that, I won't deny it. But I'm also not all about wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am at all points in time. Real, sweet relationships are .

That said, I have 3 girl BJD's, and all 3 are in complicated relationships. We have Lydia, who's the sassy vixen of the bunch. Then we have the twins, Sophie and Isobel, who both have a crush on Lydia. That leads to jealousy between the two, and much amusement on the part of Lydia.
