Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I am female and I have a SD boy and a yo sd child. I have pretty happy with them and I found it great to have bot h girl and boy. :) It is interesting who gender you pick for your doll because it kind of reflects the owner. The head i choose for my doll is a head that can fitted for both boy and girl, because I like the feeling of it. I wish I get a fairy body so it actually does not have a gender.

    3. I'm a girl. I prefer girls, also. I sew all my own doll clothes and I like to make frilly fluffy girly things (and of course I like my boys to look boyish). I like a lot of different girl dolls, but there's only a few different boys I like. I have two girls and one boy, so I prefer and own more girls but I do also like boys.

    5. I'm female and I like girl dolls. I like to make them in frilly and dressy things, because I lack that physique and I just don't wear frilly things. Maybe I'm wanting for a daughter, not sure.. But I do enjoy doing their hair, clothes, faceup(makeup). I like how delicate they are and relate to them more than a guy. No ideas come up for me for guys. I think I ever got one it'd be girly haha.

    6. I'm female and I much prefer boy dolls. I've sort of adopted a female doll from my mother but I really don't do anything with her so she just sits on the shelf...
      So technically I have all boys. They appeal to me more then any girl sculpts could and I feel I can do so much more with male characters and I guess the fact that I love yaoi also pushes my love for male characters. lol

    7. I am planning on getting one of two dolls this summer. one is a guy, the other a girl. I really like the guy dolls for some reason, but I love the variety of clothing you can get for girls. I also think that while I know I will get boys and girls, I will get at least one guy that actually looks mature, because I sometimes get really irritated at the lack of masculinity of some of the guy dolls. They just seem too effeminate, and if I want a feminine doll, I get a girl. However much of the clothing I love for the female dolls are typical "tomboy" outfits, with accessories that I usually find in the male section.

    9. I'm a girl, and I've never thought I had any sort of gender preference. But I was thinking about it, and I realized, that while I don't favor one to the exclusion of the other, I usually spend more time looking at girls than boys, and most of the dolls I have ideas for are girls. I guess maybe it's because I've always liked strong female characters best?

    10. I'm female and I greatly prefer the female dolls. I guess I just prefer them aesthetically. For me, most of the boy dolls are prettier than I'd want in a male, whereas the female dolls seem appropriately pretty, if that makes sense? XD

      I also think it relates to the reason Sonaa listed above -- I like the notion of putting them into the kind of pretty clothing I couldn't really pull off.

    11. I am a female but my preference is strongly for boys. And boys only. But I think indeed it is a matter of taste in men:) I always liked the androgynous type. Funny enough - never dated a guy like that. But they are still pleasure to look at!

    13. I'm female, and I've found that I'm much more partial to boys. I very rarely see a female sculpt that screams out 'BUY ME', but I'm sure I'll find one that does one day, while male sculpts are much more appealing. I think I just prefer their faces and the clothes are much nicer, for me at least.

    14. I'm female, and I tend to prefer female dolls. Most of my personal characters are fairly dominant, strong-willed women. I think my aversion to a lot of male dolls, as other have stated, is because of the lack of the truly masculine features in the majority of the molds. There's a few exceptions: I recently picked up my first 1/3, which is male-- however, designed to become a cross-dresser.

    16. I'm female and have two girls and two boys... and actually my next two dolls I plan on getting are one boy and one girl. I have both male and female characters so I want both as dolls. I have an easier time finding female dolls than I like than males, but I think that more comes down to the fact that I only collect MSDs and most male MSDs don't even look like men than anything.
      I sure that I'm going to keep a pretty even blend of male and female dolls.

    17. Fascinating topic! I'm a female and only have female dolls at the moment. I'm open to male dolls and prefer the more masculine features. Unless it is a younger male, like a young boy.

I am a girl, and currently I only have one resin child living with me, but after planning my dream dolls, I have realized that most of them are girls, I guess because I sew and it is easier for me to relate sewing to me and the female doll, rather than if I was sewing for a male doll. Don't get me wrong, I love the male dolls, just don't have one yet.

    20. Im man (not a boy) and am adament about only obtaining boy "counterparts". I feel (no offense to any of you male or female doll owners out there) that owning a female doll is just that. A doll. Its my psychosis i think. It would just feel awkeward to me. Dont get me wrong, i would not mind letting my boys pose and chit chat with a girl but as for owning a girl, i wouldnt feel it. I own a DOD Camine (Wolfgang) and Luke (Titan) and it just feels like having 2 lil buddies. Sure its probably A lil strange for one of them to have me clean and change his clothes but thems the rules. So in summation...im a male who likes male dolls.
