Girls or Boys and are you Male or Female?

I'm a male who prefers the boys if they're masculine enough. There are so many female dolls and they're gorgeous but I see the boys dolls as more challenging to customize ( in some part due to the extreme lack of masculine wigs, clothes, etc. And have you tried to sew pants?) and generally more exciting.

 

I'm a female and I prefer the boys, at the moment I'm only planning on getting boys. Maybe one day I'll get a girl because there's a lot of cute stuff for them. but I think she'd be the only I'd get... (and there's no sculpt that interest me yet...)

 

I'm female, and I have no preference (even though I want a boy doll in the future). Girls seem to be a lot more desired in the community (I've only had girls)... and they're easier to shop for.

 

I'm female and I have a definite preference for boys, although I do have a few girls in my resin crew. For some reason, I've always had a preference for boy dolls outside the BJD hobby as well, and my boy dolls of other genres outnumber my girl dolls. For BJD, there aren't that many girl sculpts I find attractive enough to want. Many of them just seem too cutesy and many of them seem to look more or less the same to me. I just find boy sculpts a lot more interesting and varied.

 

I am a girl and I find myself drawn to girl dolls as well. There are a few boy dolls I admire but I am much more picky about my boy sculpts.

 

I recently just ordered my first doll, and she's a girl, but I'm aiming to have an equal amount of both sexes in the end. After that, I'll probably end up with more girls anyway...! It's the same with my artwork, I end up drawing quite feminine girls. I guess I just really like feminine things.

 

For me, I am female and really love feminine dolls. I have an equal amount of both, but generally I don't like masculine-looking dolls, I like to put female heads on male bodies or similar situations. When it comes to the bodies, I'm about half and half. ^^ I have a few dapper gents, some scene boys, and some bad boys, but largely cutesy faces. I like to have a balance in my collection. C:

 

I'm female and while I do want equal amounts of both female and male dolls, I tend to fall in love with female dolls. I have a hard time finding male dolls I like. I keep telling myself I should slow down getting girls and start getting more boys but whenever I look at dolls online I always end up looking at girls, lol, because they are so pretty and can wear adorable frilly dresses. In fact, the next doll I want is also female.

 

I'm female and prefer female dolls. That doesn't mean I don't have boys, I just find female dolls easier to work with ^^

 

I'm a boy and I don't really have preference... I currently have more girl dolls than boys (well... if you count my floating head, then i guess i have equal amounts boys and girls! but i'm about to have another girl so it'll be uneven again) but I certainly don't have any conscious preference.

I do feel like girls area little easier to work with though because it seems as if there's more of a variety of feminine clothes, shoes, and wigs available than masculine.

 

I'm female and want to own equal amounts of boys and girls. My girls currently outnumber my boys 20-7 though! It's just much harder for me to find male sculpts I like, because I'm not a fan of either ultra-feminine guys OR hyper-masculine guys. I like gentle-faced, boyish guys, and they seem a bit rarer. I'm hoping that more will be released so eventually my collection can be more balanced

I'm female and I always go for girls ^^. I'm just not really into male BJD's. I love how the female body looks and I love boobs, so it's only natural for me to buy girls xD. I also feel like there's more variety in clothes for girls. I collect anime figures and all the figures I own are female too.

 

I seem to have a preference for boy dolls, but that is because I haven't found a girl doll that has both the face I'm looking for and a body that I like that matches this face.

For instance, I really love Bibiane and Asa from Iplehouse, but they are too big for me. Since I would love to have both of them in Realskin, the chances of getting a perfect hybrid are pretty slim.

There are a few male heads I want to turn into a girl, 'cause I like a girl with attitude, but this will have to wait until I my financial situation is well enough to justify getting a doll. Hehe, that might take a few years.

 

I'm female and I prefer boy dolls. Not too sure why, I've always liked male characters and the male sculpts, which is funny because I'm dating a girl. I can't find a girl that I really want either.

 

I am a female. At the moment I do own more males than females and most of my characters are males. That being said, I tend to prefer males. However, I still like female dolls just as much as male dolls. I just don't see a place for them in my doll family yet.

I am female and voted that I preferred girl dolls. It is a bit more complicated than that. I usually prefer to have a doll with a girl body though the male faces with bigger lips attract me more. I am thinking buying an Iplehouse next as the girls have bigger mouths.

 

I'm Male and only have male BJD's mainly because in the past I have only had female dolls, but other reasons are I don't like the joints on the female legs at the knee and the kankles!
Also although they have extensive beautiful wardrobes BUT, 99% of the shoes look to clunky and heavy. If the shoes were more delicate then maybe I might venture in to some Iple girls!

 

I'm female and I tend to lean towards getting male bjds. I just find male dolls a bit simpler to dress in terms of options. Though for some reason, there's a certain company where I just want to buy all the dolls regardless of gender. xP
