  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Actually torn by this. I have one boy (had two but sold his head and waiting for the body to sell) and I have 3 girls ... I love the clothes for girls, cutesy and frilly etc, but boys are easier to sew for having less curves!

    5. I'm female and prefer girls, or extremely androgynous/gender-neutral dolls that are on the feminine side. I'm not entirely sure why. It might be that I like a softer look and it's mostly female dolls that have that.

      I am female and I tend to lean towards female dolls. It feels like I have more options with girls. I like manly men so my options for customization seem more limited there. Girls make me feel more creative. I would like a couple guys around here to fiddle with too though.

    7. Interesting! I'm a girl and I only like female dolls. But since i'm into 1/6 size dolls there usually isn't much of a difference.
      I'm not against male dolls I just prefer females :D

    9. I'm female and I love both genders equally. Although, I tend to lean more towards wanting to buy boys for some reason? It's not because I like girl dolls any less, although all the boys I want are very feminine looking. Not a fan of masculine dolls- I love the young boyish dolls (I sound and feel like a pedo >.>').

    14. I'm female and prefer female dolls. I guess its the same reason why as an artist, I prefer drawing women more than men.
      It's not anything about my sexual preference; as I am happily married to my husband! But I do like the womans' figure. I guess I'm just drawn to the beauty in all women and unconsciously it's part of my desire to respect my own femininity.

      Plus, I like throwing cute dresses on them.

      However, I see myself possibly buying a male doll in the future if I find a sculpt that I like. If I were to attain a male doll, I would want to go for an Arabian character.
      I would see myself buying a male centaur more than just a normal male doll.

    15. Female, but I prefer male dolls. I don't know, maybe it's because sometimes the sheer hugeness of the female BJD's bust scares me :sweat? But recently, I'm considering the fact that female dolls have fancier dresses and that makes me want to get one so I can dress her up all ladylike and stuff?

      That said, I guess the male dolls could possibly dress up as girls, but would girl clothes for them be hard to find? I haven't stumbled across any BJD clothes shop that sells these kind of stuff, at least...

    17. I'm female and I only collect girls.

      I started off with boys but I couldn't get along with them. I like to look at pictures of them I just don't like them for myself, if that makes sense.

      Anyway, I'm glad I only collect girls, because there are enough dolls on my wishlist without adding all the male sculpts I like to it as well xD

      But, yeah, I just find boys awkward for some reason. I always found too many things I hated about them and had to sell them.

    18. I'm female and I'm yet to find a female doll that I'd order. I'm male all the way! I hope to find a female sculpt one day, but right now I'm concentrating on getting my male characters shelled into dolls.

    19. I am a female and when I first started the hobby, I was all about male dolls. But in the past two years or so, my tastes changed drastically. I don't know why but I'm more attracted to female dolls now. I still have a couple of male dolls I'd like to buy but I spend most my money on females now. -__-

    20. I`m female and I prefer boys. I don`t know why, they just seem more interesting to me. I had several girls in my collection but every time I buy a girl it ends the same - I find her the new owner..
