Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I'm one of those girls who came into doll collection through yaoi writing and originally insisted I would "never own a girl." I've done a complete 180 now and keep gender-swapping characters so I can buy girl dolls for them, because at the moment I just find them more appealing. My collection is now split pretty equally.

    7. My current resin family is evenly-matched, 3 boys and 3 girls. My wishlist is actually more girls than boys, but MSD girls vs SD boys xD Unless I count the "maybe" lost as well, then it's more leaning towards the boys xD

      I don't really have a preference one way or the other, I like bothit just turns out I've come across more boy sculpts that I like I guess

    9. I'm a guy, it may be an OCD thing, but I usually bring a boy and girl home together. I did that with my many off topic dolls. The expense is great with BJDs so I'm unable to do it. I got my MSD girlie years ago, intending she would always have a big brother. My BJD hobby stalled because I got into other things, but now I'm taking a break from that. BJDs started to shine a bit more brightly to me lately, and now I want to complete what I started!

    10. My preference has nothing to do with clothes, one of my female dolls wear mainly boy's clothes. I could put a boy in a frilly dress if I wanted to and thought it matched his personality.
      Currently I only have one male doll and a head that's supposed to be male, I also have a male body but I will make it into a girl... along with six female dolls (plus one coming and an indefinite number in wishlist)

      Not being actually attracted to boys may be a factor. I don't like dolls with muscles so I only like the cute and slim ones, and there aren't a lot. Especially since I tend to be very picky about faces and body proportions.

    13. I'm male and I like the female dolls more. I have 8 girl dolls (that range up to 5' tall) and if you count Muppets (Kermit and Animal) I have 3 male dolls. I like the Lolita, cute and frilly looks. The billowing dresses and skirt outfits appeal to me more than the boys outfits.

    18. I like my dolls to be beautiful and cute, and for me girls just fit those categories better. I'm more about froofy lolita dresses, mary janes, and long, soft hair than I am about jeans and sunglasses and a cool fur wig, lol.

      That said, I have some OT boy dolls - 5 Taeyangs to a ratio of 60+ Pullips. Yeah. They're a bit outnumbered :lol: I adore my boys, but I just find girls make nicer dolls. I don't have any plans to buy a male BJD.
