Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Coz having a girl need to buy lots of dress...which boys could have less~XD
      and I think the dress..should be wearing by myself.....
      dolls dress are as cost as human..even more expensive..
      I would rather wear the human size and save for something that I would not wear that all..

    2. im female and i has all girl dolls! i tried boys but i find them so difficult to sew for, style, dress and photgraph i guess its cause i can relate to girls easier and see a bit of myself in them. i do really admire boy sculpts and love getting to meets to see my friends boys they are just amazing but not for me :(

    4. I'm female and tend to pick male dolls. They're more appealing to me aesthetically and most of my characters are male anyway. I do have a few female dolls planned though...good thing too, because I want to make more girls' clothing. ^_^; If I don't get a female doll the only dresses I make will be for Sage...

    5. I'm a girl and I want a girl because I like to dress her up in clothes that I like, and I don't like to wear masculine clothes, so a girl was a natural choice for me.

      (Yes I know you can crossdress a male doll, but I'd rather not XD)

      I do appreciate boy dolls though. In fact, I fell in love with BJDs after seeing a boy doll (no, having been used to seeing androgynous jrockers, i didn't mistake him for a girl).

      Perhaps next time i would consider getting a boy doll, but I think his wardrobe will be sadly neglected by me. Boy's clothes are either too boring or nicely fancy but horrifically expensive.

    6. Well I guess you could say that I have all girls so far....but that's because I only have one doll(and she's not even here yet)...But no I don't have a preference. My doll family will be a mix of both genders as they are based off of characters from a story that I keep meaning to write.

    7. Majority is girls. My first was a boy. I LOVE him. He holds a special location in my heart. Out of my 15 dolls {1 on layway and 1 on the want list} 6 are boys. SO it isn't 50/50. I choose "Female with no preference or have equal of both".

    10. I'm female and have no preference over a specific gender of dolls... I'd rather have an equal number of boys and girls at home, to avoid any harem (or reverse harem) situations! XD

      But yeah, there's one drawback for boys: their clothing are expensive and much more limited in variety than girls' clothes.

    11. Another female over here with a strong preferance of collecting all male dolls. I hardly think it's because I want to create them all into my 'ideals' of any sort however for while one or two of them may carry character traits that I find attractive in men, they range all over the board with personalities very similar to my own as well as with personalities I would most likely want nothing to do with in real life.

      Upon my wishlist I only have a single female doll I'd seriously consider someday owning, a DiM Kassia. For the most part I not only am unable to find many female dolls I actually find extremely attractive (many are either very wide eyed or smiley, or very stern and realistic), but I have difficulties attaching myself to their characters as well. They either end up much too similar to myself or extremely flat. DiM Kassia managed to slip through the cracks however with a character I've come to adore over the years and I think her rarity is what makes me want to pay tribute to her.

      But in a nutshell, it's the boys that rule my bjd world.

    14. I'm a girl and...right now I have no boy dolls at all! I am getting some in the future and am totally excited about it, but really... I love pretty wigs and dresses and painting make up on them. Which is funny because I don't really pay all that much attention to my own looks!

I'm female and I prefer girl dolls, however now I have more boys then girls: my first two dolls were character dolls for Uchiha brothers from Naruto, but when I choose just doll for itself, not for a particular character, I like girls more than boys ^^ I like choosing cute outfits, besides, I still don't know, how to dress my third boy - I totally suck at dressing men *_*

    17. I'm male and though I love Dolls of both genders, I have no intention of ever getting a male doll.
      I have two female MSD's of my own. I find that there are some nice male dolls out there but males are less interesting generally. Their outfits are less imaginative too =/

    18. I'm a female, and while at the moment I have more boys than girls, I tend to find myself liking both equally. Right now, I'm content with my little crew and don't have any plans for any more dolls in the immediate future. But I know if I do, I'm probably going to be drawn more towards an SD female.

      But who knows! The best laid dollie plans seem to go awry.

    19. I'm female and has a 'thing' for guys. I usually don't give the girls any glances and go straight to check out the guy dolls X_X I think it's pretty natural..for girls to go for guys but then, that's just my opinion =)

      I'm starting to check out those girls now but not all, only the cute ones...mainly because I need a little sister for my future guy and because I think the girls will get to wear all the pretty clothes I wanted to wear but no figure/courage to. (>_<")

    20. I'm a girl and I only got my one boy right now, but plan on ordering a couple girls soon c:
      I like boy dolls, but you can't really dress him up.. xD
      So i think my future dolls will be more girls! cause I like playing dress up and having lots of options with designing characters c: I seem to have this problem with my boy, I want to buy him everything i actually have in my wardrobe and it's not doing him much justice! So i think a girl doll would be much better for me XD I don't prefer any gender over the other one though
      Outside of the BJD and artist world i find most people think makes more sense for a girl to have female dolls anyways~ xD (but that's jus the what i generally run into) XD
