  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. My mum and I bought my sister a Felix Brownie together. I wasn't entirely sure how she would take to BJDs, but she's seen mine so I wanted to get her something small first =3. And she loves Ana, so... it worked hehe =D.

    4. I bought a friend of mine her first BJD--but it's really hard to buy someone a model you don't have--and then you "peek"--and you happen to love what you see in the box, LOL! :)

      My advice: don't ever peek, or you might end up keeping the gift for yourself. ;) (I was able to give it away!)

    5. i ordered 2 dolls for each of my sisters as christmas gifts. one is an ai sia and the other is a junior ai marco. i am hoping that they'd like them! ^^

    6. I actually got an Abio Angel Yi as one of my first dolls that I'm just not connecting with, but instead of tossing him back on the market, I think I'm going to rework him into my friend's OC and give him to her for Christmas.

    8. I have bough a Ducan for my friend for this Xmas ^^ She is not very fan of BJds but she likes them and has one little one after all.
      She wants a Ducan doll since almost 3 years because it is perfect for one of her own characters, but she coudn't buy it for one or another reason.
      I found a secondhand Ducan and I had it sure in my mind, so I have it in home preparing it to customize it as her chara.

    10. I´ve been thinking for a while about giving a doll to my sister (and was tempted to give one to my friend too). She wants to save up for her first in summer anyway but I´d just love if we could have double dolly christmas. But as I am poor student I can´t afford it.

      It´s so nice from everyone who bought a doll to their loved ones <3

    11. If I could, I'd buy one for my sister and myself. She loves the more adult looking males and I love the more childish looking ones. If I could buy one for her and myself we'd have our little 'family' like we've always talked about.
      She'd love that for christmas.

      Its a shame I dont have enough money for two dolls, let alone one.

    13. I've been thinking of getting my sister a BJD for her 18th birthday, as she's smitten with my only girl doll Mitchell. Right now Mitchell is staying with her at the other side of the country (I live on my own faar away) but I think it's time for her own doll.

      The main reasons I won't actually buy one is that it would be unfair to my other sister, and that I'm afraid my sister will loose interest too soon.

    14. I just ordered my hubby a Doll Family Zero for Christmas. He has been wanting him for a while now. I did let him know I was doing it though, I had to find out exactly which mold and skin tone he wanted. I wanted it to be a surprise but I was afraid I would order the wrong one. But if it makes it here before Christmas I'm still going to wrap it and put it under the tree. His first doll was a birthday gift, but again he helped me order. A DOI Luke second hand from the market place. I would love to order a doll to surprise him with. Maybe next year I will be able to do it. He just doesn't talk about his doll plans with me enough.

      I would like to buy a dollzone bunny for my oldest son. Maybe if he is still interested when he gets a bit older. Right now my biggest concern is that his little brother would break it or that he would get bored when he realized he couldn't play with it like his other toys.

    17. Well, I just did it (see my osts on page 28&29), send a Brownie to someone i know from DOA only, one of my frequent pm-ers. Hope she'll like it. Also hope none of the other people i frequently pm with will feel offended!

    18. I just gave my friend a Leekeworld Dream for Christmas, she ADORES it. Not only that I made it a ballet outfit just for her that matched something she's worn. She had been telling me she's wanted Dream all year and finally I decided it was time Dream found her way to my friends home ^_^

    19. I plan to buy a BJD for my husband eventually. He really likes the look of Doll-Zone Saka.

      He'd be the only person I'd purchase a BJD for, simply because no one else in my family is interested in the hobby.
