My boy's here! The wig is Leekeworld, and it is way too big for his head. It's really loose and I did everything I could to make it look decent. I know it would've been easier if he had a body for support. I love him, and I never thought I'd like a sleepy head! -Lishy
Ha! That's actually the wig I plan on putting on my Dimo when he arrives next month. It's the only SD wig I have at the moment. I'm planning on giving him the NT Kai default wig, which I think will fit his small head better. Or at least I hope so. ops: However, after fighting with the stupid thing for at least 15 minutes, I might get another wig for my Dimo altogether. -Lishy
I just noticed this thread, thanks so much for posting your pictures, lishypo and Mid! Igon is so sweet. I seriously love the open-eyed version of him, I guess I'll just settle in for the wait with the rest of you!

Has anyone tried the head on any bodies? I wasn't happy finding out that they would match best resin and size on a new SD13 body.. I really don't like that body and I don't know what other body would be worth trying ~_~ If anyone has pictures of their head on a body, please let me know. Thank you! Omi
St. James arrived today! His eyes won't arrive until next week! His hair won't arrive until next month! His body won't arrive until next year! :cry: Anyway, Kaspar let him use his body (not like that) for a few minutes to see how it looked. The resin doesn't match exactly, but it's not too bad, he looks more pink partly due to the blushing. His face is very large for his head. When compared to our other boys, his head is smaller but his face is larger. It makes him look a little goofy on the CP body, but that just serves to make him look younger. So here he is on a BW CP boy body: Here he is with an 8-9in wig cap from Monique. It's a bit baggy on top (he has a little cranium!) but his head label keeps it on: Assorted wigs; fur wig- homemade, black wig - Bermann Valentino default, white wig - poshdolls: I can already tell he's going to be photogenic! Oh, and a note about the eyes. The Gomi doll site stated that Igon took 16mm eyes, but they are clearly carved large enough for 18mm. The 16mm eye sizer fit fine, but there's a small gap in the outside corner of one eye and a lot of room in the socket. 18mm fit perfectly. I changed my order from 18 to 16mm for him when I read the site info, so I hope they look okay.
Thank you so much, St. James! You say that body is a BW? Mayhaps he would match better on a normal skin CP body? I don't know how much of a difference there is so ops: At least the size looks okay in the pictures. Any minor colour difference can be fixed with clever blushing, I hope. I'm sorry, could you take a picture of him on that body kind of from a distance? Not really far, but it being not up close helps get a better idea of the size of the head relative to the body. If you've already swapped them back and don't want to do it again, don't worry about it ^_^
I can swap their heads again in a couple of days. I can also put it on idrisfynn's SD13 pureskin snow boy. Kaspar is monopolizing all of my time at the moment, so I'll try to get to it on Monday or Tuesday. The resin match doesn't bother me so much, St. James will have full body tatoos, so it won't be very noticable. Thanks for the reassurance on the eyes, btw. :grin:
Thank your for posting those pictures! It's good to see that a BW body is doable - I have the feeling that a normal-skin Igon would fall right in between CP white and CP normal colorwise. And I second Lishy, 16mm eyes look just fine, though with mine I noticed a slight gap in certain positions. :grin:
Well i took my Igon to the dollshow yesterday and thanks to Tori (Reisilver on here i think) seems to be the only one to have posted photos so far... as a result i've leeched them equally as fast... I stuck Igon on an AR body...with yellow light the colour seems a bit off..And , like some indivual artist heads; do look kind of large on the AR body (since its Kujia's-type-of-scrawny anyway) but ... i guess... since Igon was only going to be a boy for that night and one night only (well... since its going to be a she... O.o with more open eyes and a long BLACK wig) .. i thought i migth share pictures of the boy who never was; meet Toby. I'm still waiting for images to arrive from other people teehee...so i can post those in the gallery with his obviously emo-self... Poor boy > . >
Unfortunately, no. Sienna sent me a PM asking for additional shipping money, as the EMS cost in Korea had recently been hiked up. Sent her the payment, replied to her PM...and it hasn't even been looked at yet. She had said that the orders "will be shipped soon, I think", but her post on the order board has still not been moved to "shipped" with all of the other orders. Looks like her heads are the absolute last to be finished and shipped. Kinda sucks, considering that those of us who ordered through her actually ordered before the international orders, but we're getting ours dead last. =~_~= Anyway...I'm hoping that they might be sent out sometime this week. Of course, I hoped the same thing last week and the week before, too. =~_~=;;;
