Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Very good. They made changes viewable on the website under My Order and also emailed me.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy: Paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      Layaway/PIF: 2016 Dec 29. Shipping/tracking: 2017 Feb 24. Arrival: 2017 Mar 03.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes. Perfect condition. Good posing. All items high quality.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes. Although faceup seemed a bit lighter. But good quality and I'm happy with it.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      This is my 3rd Granado. I'm hoping I won't order more, but I'm sure I'll be very, very tempted! I think they are a good company. Well-run and trust-worthy.

      Embody body and Hansel head, both in bronze.

      * How was the communication?

      Excellent! They sent me an email the day I ordered to tell me that the head didn't fit with the body (later giving me advice on how I could modify it myself, but also offering to do it for $30), and that I'd be getting some refunds (I only had to pay for the body's additional skin color cost, not the head as well).

      * How easy was it to pay?

      They offer layaway, thank god, and installments were simply sent via Paypal.

      * How long did it take to ship?

      I'm foggy on this. They sent it out in January, not long after my final payment, and sent me an email to let me know they had it ready. I remember it arriving fairly quickly, compared to other, smaller things I've bought from China.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      Well, I'm new to the hobby, so I don't have much to go on. All total, it was about $1k for a 70cm body+head in a darker tone, with no face-up or any of the other fixins (though all the seam lines were fully sanded and virtually invisible, by default, as ought to be the way of things for all companies). That's definitely a bit much, with most of the price coming from the body. Now, I don't have any other bodies to compare it to (other than a Dollmore 16"), but I'd say it's very well engineered-- it can stand on its own (which is a thing, I did not realize dolls could do) and keeps its poses easily (unlike my Dollmore, which I'll need to stick some wires in).

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?

      Yep. And the two face-ups shown give you an idea of how versatile the sculpt is; if it weren't for the 2nd face-up, if the only example they gave was the Jonas brother looking dude in the 1st photo set, I probably wouldn't have considered the sculpt for this character.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?

      Definitely. The body is SOLID, and I can't even tell that the neck/neck hole had to be modified to fit. It also sands really, really well, contrary to what every other site says about darker resin (though the Granado site does says that theirs is sandable). Were I not a perfectionist, I could just use 600 grit and get very little change in color.

      * Would you order from this company again?

      Definitely. This is one of those rare cases where I'm totally down with forking over crazy money to a company, because their products, service, and overall panache are that good.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand?

      Only if I can't get it from the company first-hand.

      Absolutely yes!

      Better!

      Yes! The engineering of this body is simply stunning.

      Just bodies, as their heads are not really my style

      Actually I tried but no one had the exact body and skin tone I was looking for.
