I just did the exact same thing! I have the cash, and I knew I'd kick myself if this was a one time thing. XD Though, honestly, I've been lusting after Granado for a while, and having something offered in my preferred scale was too much to resist.
Granado Vigor with Lucifer head successfully crowd funded for all three sizes in the MSD range! 40-43cm, 45-48cm, and 50-53cm. Granado Dolls have a thread going in the tiny section and the large section, so here’s a place for these three mini sizes to go! I ordered the 45-48cm in tan with layaway. Using THE POWER OF MATH and spreadsheets I tried to calculate the finished sizes of the 45-48 and 50-53 and compare those estimates to other potentially similarly scaled dolls...even though I think 50-53 is likely to be able to share more commercially available clothing, the shorter option appealed to me more. Here is my spreadsheet Granado Vigor Body Estimates (It includes one female body because...that’s the only doll I currently own that’s similar!) What are your thoughts? How did you pick a size? What are your plans for your Lucifer Vigor?
I bought the 50-53cm version in white skin. It will be cool to compare it to my full size giant Lucifer head. It’s a giant handsome fellow and later on I will have the mini version! And thanks so much for sharing your spreadsheet. I own a Souldoll Vito and Unoa Elder body and I’m excited to see how the Vigor body will compare in size and proportion.
I ordered a 45-48cm in normal. Granado dolls are all very handsome, but I really enjoy the MSD size range. (Admittedly, I didn't know about Terra before this crowdfund haha) I'm thinking about making mine a model (so original, I know) that pairs with my HaruCasting Maji when they both eventually get here.
I ordered the 50-53 size in Syringa because that seemed to me to possibly fit in the best size-wise with my gaggle of Iple FID, Raccoon man, Soom Id 51 guy, Batchix 51 dark elf, and SoulDoll Vito. I have always loved the bigger guys, and have a full sized Lucifer on order already, so having the mini size of him seemed like fun. I went for Syringa because I think he will be like the imp-on-your-shoulder for my full sized Lucifer (in Normal). A Lucifer with a little Lucifer giving him suggestions just gives me a chuckle. And thanks for making this thread! I was watching the tiny thread too, but didn't get that size. Here's hoping the little guys all meet our expectations!
I got the 45cm size one to pair with my Lumedoll guy. He's in normal skin. I'm still planning his character out but right now I'm wanting him to be the guardian of Takeshi (lumedoll Tyl). My plans always seem to change when they arrive though, so we'll see! I will be able to do comparison pictures of him with my Terra when he arrives too.
I just saw on Instagram, the 45-48cm has finished 3D printing! They have the parts laid out next to the smallest version and the largest version which makes for an interesting picture!
I ordered the 45-48 cm Lucifer and I'm making the last payment on him tomorrow. I can't wait to see him. I saw some of the people who ordered the 32 cm have gotten requests for shipping payment which may indicate they're ready so I hope this size is too. We'll see.
I'm excited to start seeing owner pictures! And @chrstphrl , I'm in the same boat with you in wanting official measurements. I've jotted down some estimations based on the full-size Lucifer, but I don't trust my math skills enough to start looking for wigs or eyes yet.
Yes I saw that the 31.5cm ones are expected to ship about end of this month. The crowdfunding for that size was the first successful one, then I think maybe another size funded and then 45-48cm funded, so I have my fingers crossed for August/September I’m nervous he will be a shorty at 45 cm I hope he’s closer to 48. I feel pretty confident that either way he will take 8mm eyes and a 5/6 wig but I don’t plan to buy anything for him until he gets here
That's what I'm assuming for sizes, too. I have a spare 5/6 wig to try out, but no eyes between 6mm and 12mm, so those will have to wait until I can see him in person. I'm hoping he takes 8mm, since that size doesn't seem too hard to find, and with more options than 6mm.
Yeah I’ll be sad if he needs 6mm, it’s hard enough finding 8mm. I’ve got a selection of pukipuki and other dolls with 6,8, and 10mm eyes so I’m ready to figure it out!
I think you may be right. Hopefully anyway. We've seen that he is working on them so fingers crossed. I paid my Lucifer 45-48 off on Wednesday July 18 ! Now comes the wait for shipping .
Terra is a basic so he is always available. If you mean Lucifer, you will have to wait until the next order period. It could be awhile though.
Yeah, just one option for the MSD for Terra. He has been the only MSD from Granado until they just did Lucifer. Crocus prefers to do big dolls so he had said he didn't have plans to do any more. I guess we'll see now. If you only want to order a body from Granado, you have to wait until their monthly sale (which is the first few days of each month). Otherwise, you can order a full Terra at any time.
