  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Ahhh! I just had a vision of a bjd optician's office, where the displays aren't glasses, they're eyes!
      Anyway, I hope you have a display of some kind for your bjd eyes. Enjoy!

      You could start with those folding board displays kids use for science fairs. They make a great 3-sided backgrounds and fold flat for storage. (I hope you win some day!)

      Oh, dear! If you catch sight of Rement miniatures, you will be as hooked as I am!

    5. Props, always props. And making a bunch of things that my doll's don't REALLY need but it looks nice when I want a certain shot. (Like, I made Avalon a Star Wars blanket because I thought it'd be cute and the fabric was too nice to use up for just one square I had of it.)

    10. Fabric and craft supplies are my guilty pleasure! I have more than I could possibly use in two lifetimes but I always seek out more for that next project in my head. I have bins full of cut out patterns and projects not quite finished. I am embarrassed to say how many outfits are just waiting for snaps to be sewn or tiny notions to be put on that I took the time to craft and then failed to use to complete an outfit. Once I problem solve a dilemma or see the finished product in my mind I tend to move on to the next thing.

    11. I'm another one guilty of planning outfits and buying supplies and then not making the clothes. And I have a pile of unfished clothes, some are just cut out, some are just missing snaps or a ribbon.

      I also have a weakness for limited fantasy dolls, even when ordering them is not the wisest use of my limited finances. :doh But I adore them and would have been sad to have missed the chance to get them. For example, Soom fairies rarely turn up in the Marketplace, and are almost always higher than original company price.

    12. Glasses! Every single time I start sketching up a character design around a doll I always end up giving them glasses... it sucks, because most of my dolls are really small and I can't find a cute small pair of glasses to save my life.

      Also really wide hips on dolls... even if its a boy, the wider the better.

      Also, LINGERIE. I love ridiculous lacy underthings. The sexier, the better. And I haven’t thought to get heeled feet yet...

      Also also, suits! One of my main BJD goals is to learn how to make each of them a suit. That includes my girl, too. I don’t know if she’s going to rock a pencil skirt or not, but whatever she gets, I hope she rocks it good. :aheartbea I’m most excited about my DC boy, though— he’s tall and lanky, so he’ll be fun to dress up!

    15. Sorry to be a downer here, but my guilty pleasure is ball jointed dolls. That much money could go a long way: my kids college education funds, IRA, stock market with compounding interest, charity.... So yes I feel guilty.

    16. What are your favorites? I was searching for "quality eyes" and this is the first post that popped up. I really want to get eyes that look as realistic as possible, and it is so hard to tell on the internet. I assume that they can make them look better than they do in real life, so it is really hard to choose.
