@pittz , hes adorable! And that name is perfect @clochette , Is that the default faceup? Also, purple hair and tan skin is the best I was able to pick up my smiley girl today too! Haru really went overboard with the snackies this time. There was a whole box of cookies in there lol.
Congratulations on the new arrivals! There wasn't really a "default" faceup....he asked me to go through the pictures of his dolls to choose what faceup I liked. It was an easy choice for me, because I've been in love with one of his girls since he introduced her. I'm sure others chose different faces. I'm thrilled with how she came out. Thank you! I didn't want you to get in trouble with the moderators, it's an easy rule to miss sometimes. I'm thinking the purple wig will stay, but the bright green eyes are just a little too bright. Congrats everyone on their new cuties! My Adori will be waiting for me in the UK next week as I'm going there for the weekend.....she's blank but her wig and eyes will be with her. I look forward to getting her face done when we get back to Spain, my friend Olga/Vainilladolly is going to be doing her for me I'm excited!!! @clochette I do like that purple wig on your Geuru, 'fantasy' colours look so nice with the different tans, don't they!
They do, definitely. I have a couple of apricot colored wigs on tan dolls, and I love that look. This one is a soy fiber wig.
All the Geurus are so cute! The picture with the purple hair and green eyes reminds me of Mal from Disney's Descendants.
These dolls are obese! I have not met them in a while! They look like real children !!!! They are unstable
I may not be understanding what you mean by obese or unstable? My girl stands like a rock, she has a lot of stability. I also don't consider her obese, she's a similar size to several of my Yo sized kids from other companies. They're designed to look like Haru's actual children.
The girls got their faceups today! I tried to keep it simple so her thin eyes didn't get overpowered.
Very cute, and I love her outfit! What size eyes were you able to use for her? The eye openings are very small.

No worries, I understand. My Geuru is on the Nonni body, which is modeled after his daughter. It's a bit bigger/chubbier than the Adori body, which is more slender. We had the option of picking either body for our Geuru heads, but with her rounder face sculpt, the Nonni body just seemed to "fit" to me. She looks very lifelike. I'm blown away at how well these dolls are engineered. They're a bit heavier than some of the more recent Yo size kids, but they are able to hold very lifelike poses and hold them well.
