Same for me. I actually really like Maji but when E Minor came on the scene she stole the show! I love her grumpy face.
Im thinking of getting a regular Geuru this time around. Maji is a bit out of my price range at the moment... What eye sizes are yall using for Geuru? Will 14mm fit?
14mm is too large. I used 12mm with a 10mm iris. He recommends 10-12mm with no or low dome. Maji's price point is higher than expected, so I will likely wait until the next ordering period and see if the owner pictures push me over the edge.
I’m in the same camp with the “waiting for e-minor” folks. Supposedly she will be offered late summer/early fall, according to what Haru said on Instagram the other day. I really thought about finally buying that second Adori that I promised myself last year, but I think I’m just gonna enjoy the one I have right now. Maybe I’ll feel differently in the next ordering period. Meanwhile, I can’t wait to see all of the new Adori, Nanni, and Geuru dolls all of you get! Edited to add: as far as eyes for my Adori and Nanni, I’ve had the best luck with 10 mm low dome eyes. That low dome is more important than I realized at first - even Haru commented on the gappiness of the first pair of eyes (regular dome) I put into Adori.
I have used 14mm, 12mm, and 10mm. The 14's I'm using now are oscar doll eyes and I like how they look. Also Makoeyes in 12mm have a smaller iris than other types of eyes so you may like that size a little better. Reviving this thing to see if anyone else is making plans for their new cuties? I've decided my little one is named Alice, and she'll have amber eyes and chocolate-colored hair. Slowly but surely putting together a set of real-kid simple country/mori type dresses too. My girl has a big sister, so I'm thinking she steals shirts too. XD
That sounds so cute Rianne! Theres a huge shortage of mori yosds. Im 90% sure my Geuru will be named Lesedi. It means "light" in Sesotho. She is meant to be paired with my IslandDoll dove, Naledi, so she will probably wear mostly whites. Havent decided if she should have a wig yet, she might look good without one since she's ebony
