1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Apr 5, 2007

    1. You are all horrible enablers!!!! :D

girlsofair--your girls look fantastic! I didn't know that they had pink wigs!

I ordered the brown dress and the cream dressing gown and that wig to the left... I haven't had time to try them on my girl yet... I can't wait! Everything looks so good!!! :)

      Also--

I've started a Thread for Marie Antoinette photos in the Gallery/Requests/Clothes section. I'd love to see more photos of everyone's lovely dolls posted there!!!

    2. What a great idea, April! I posted mine! :-)

    3. I just made the time to try on the dresses and shoes on my girls and it was a little disapointing. The Lish body is skinnier than Volks or Elfdoll. There is no "give" in the dresses and no way to let out the seams a little. My CH Choa
has the old body with the same bust and waist measurement as Lish but bigger hips. Hips don't matter as these are full skirt dresses. Choa can wear the corset with side pads under her gowns. Yori can fit into only one gown and zipping her up is a struggle. Poor big busted Sooah is even harder to dress and only one dress can be zipped all the way. Neither of them can wear the corsets under the gowns. So much for the girls sharing clothes!
Lish feet must be very narrow. The peach shoe and the purple can slip on Yori and Sooah tightly. Neither fit Choa who must have a faction of an inch wider feet so she is barefoot for now. I am still looking for a pannier to buy and copy and will have to make my own bustle and side pads for two of the girls. I would really hate to make 3 panniers!

Hope you have more luck than I did.

    4. Thanks April! I took better pix outside this morn and just posted to your thread.

    5. My Luts Delf Soo fits in the dresses without a problem. She has the standard large bust. She can even wear the corset underneath, although zipping it up was a bit more difficult. My Volks SD13 girls had no problem with the dresses either, but I didn't try any of the underthings on her besides the tulle skirt.

    6. Has anyone tried these dresses on a SD10 doll? I wish I could find out if the Haute Doll cover dress (Pink & aqua gown) fits a SD10 for sure. I am enjoying everyones pictures :-)

    7. Hi Mary!
The Volks SD13 and SD 10 share the same chest (24 cm) measurements but the SD10's waist is 5 cm larger than SD13. I had a very hard time zipping up any dress on the SD13. My Choa chest 23cm, waist 17cm, hip 24cm is wearing the Aqua dress which seems to be the most forgiving around the waistline of the 4 dresses I have tried on the girls. She can even wear the corset with it.
The measurements of the luts delf Soo (I think I took from their website) says her chest 22 cm, waist is 17.5 cm, hips are 26.5 cm. Her chest is just 1 cm smaller than the Lish body. I assume Peekswood sky is the Lish body?
So if your girl measures the same as Luts Soo or CH Choa the dress should fit with undergarments.

Gee.. never thought Yori was fat before this... Is no one safe from obesity?

    8. Hi Mary - The blue/pink dress fit my SD-10 Luna and the black Dollectable outfit fits both Luna and SD-13 Emma. It's tight and wouldn't fit underwear under, but it doesn't need it.

Anyway - I've tried these clothes on a variety of bodies and I haven't had anything that didn't fit yet, but they all fit differently. For the slimmer dolls I've just been layering the underwear and that helps. I don't have a Luts or a newer Custom House (I have an old body) - so I can't speak to those! :-)

    9. Sorry, double post!

    10. Thanks so much this was a great help. Now I am off to measure.

    11. So far I have only had the time to try the purple gown on both an SD10 girl (Liz -- it matches so well with her eyes :) and it fits her beautifully) and an SD13 girl (Yori) without any trouble. And I have the aqua and pink gown on an SD13 girl (Elena). That dress is definitely roomier than the purple one especially across the bust line. However, none of these dolls can wear the corset with the side pads underneath the dress. In fact, I couldn't even get the corset fastened except for the top hook. So then I decided to try the corset on my DDII body. It fits and fastens but it doesn't lie perfectly smooth. But I was able to put the pink and green floral dress on over it fairly easily, and it looks quite nice. Also, the white pumps fit the DD feet very well. Hope this helps someone.

    12. Thanks for your help. I did hear the aqua and pink dress was the most roomy of all the dresses.
      :-)

    13. Well, I ordered the aqua and pink stripe dress and now I am crossing my fingers it will fit. I will try and post pictures when it arrives. Thanks again everyone for your help.
      :-)

    14. I like it too! It complements her skintone perfectly somehow. :)

    15. HI!
I have figured out how to make the pannier and thank everyone who has encouraged me and for the MEASUREMENTS especially. I thought you might like to see how it turned out. I just joined a picture hosting site so this is my first attempt to post a picture. Hope this works!
