Have you made provisions for your dolls if you die?

Zarr and Mural, I can't pass on to anyone...Zarr would drive them mad, and Mural would create an atmosphere of gloom and evil. xD Well, I COULD pass them on, but they'd have to stay together to balance each other out.

Or, y'know, just bury them with me. It's all good. :3

Yukio, however (when I get him), is definitely going to my best friend if I die before her (which is most likely going to be the case xD) -- one of her dolls is going to be of his wife, and it would be mean of me to split them up. D:

 

My elder sister is aware that a lot of my collectibles are worth serious $$$$ and knows that she is to contact my best friend in the event of my untimely death so that they may be sold in the proper venues for what they are worth. The money will then be used to cover my funeral expenses/buy booze for everyone.

 

Hmmm I expect my family to sell them and do whatever they wish with the proceeds...!

If im old, then id just rather be burried with them,

but if im sitll young, actually id give them to my mom and make her promise not to sell them.

 

I'll probably leave a few special ones to friends but then everything I own will be sold at auction with the proceeds designated for an animal shelter.

 

I made a promise to myself that once I get my first doll I'll keep him no matter what... after that I plan to get a five more dolls to complete my wishlist. I want to keep them with me my whole life, even if I lose interest. So when I die I want to burried with my very first doll and the others will be passed on to people who I care about and know will take care of my dolls.
Sounds good, neh?

 

I would give my dolls to my parents, and if my brother has any children I would want them to give the kids the dolls.

I was just wondering, when you die waht will happen with your doll? Do you want your doll to be passed down to one of your relatives. If so who and do you think that they would treat them as you did? Would you be afraid that they would not recieve the proper attention? Or would you like to be buried with your doll?!

I suppose that I would want Naomi to go to one of my family members or friends depending on certain factors. To be brief, I would want her to be with the person I feel would treat her the best. Not someone who would just be like "If I got her I would just store her." Ya know?

 

I've already (sort of) made arrangements on this. All my dolls will go to my niece and grand-niece, who I know treasures dolls and have an active interest in BJDs. When I told them both that they would "inheirit" my BJDs my grand-niece's eyes lit up and she said "really?" and my niece wailed and said "oh nothing's going to happen to you!"-which was cute.

Although my BJDs would be treasured they probably wouldn't be played with like I do with them, and I have the sinking suspicion that if it would be needed they would probably get sold for money But I have no one else to give them to!

 

I geuss I just assumed what I pass down would stay in the family, I dont really have anyone else to pass dolls down to

I'd give mine to my friend, or if not than probably to one of the more gentle people on my mother's side! My aunt, or nieces.

 

I honestly have no idea. My family would probably sell them off (along with all my other possessions. Or give them away to relatives in Vietnam.) because they're very greedy with money. D8 And I'm being serious. But I plan on living to a ripe old age. Then, I guess they can go to whoever wants them most?

 

Dunno. May be give them away to nice children if there gonna be anyone nice

 

They would most likely be kept by my husband and daughter....depending on how many I have at the time, some may go to my sisters or mother too.

 

If I were to die prematurely (not of old age, in other words XD), then I would rather they went to my closest friends in the hobby, since I know they would be taken care of. If it comes to old age though, then I'm totally taking them with me XD (unless i had kids or grandkids that really loved them or something)

 

Hopefully I won't die soon but if I die within the next few years *knock on wood* then I'd probably give Loric to a friend in the hobby and the rest of them would go to my fiance'. When I'm older and keel over they'd probably all go to my children, whichever was interested in the hobby or something. I don't know, I don't like thinking about death.
