Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Haha, no real injuries for me, except the first time I restrung Gwaewen. The elastic was really about half a mm too thick and necessitated huge amounts of pulling in all directions. My hands were rubbed absolutely RAW. It hurt to touch things for a good 36 hours afterwards. :(

    2. Nothing major but I remember my friend's doll randomly hit me on the ear one time when I played with him but I found that pretty funny.
      My own dolls never did anything similar as far as I remember, even though the metal bar in my Mono's head slipped out of the elastic once and shot up, missing my eye by only 1 or 2 cm while I was trying to restring him for the first time. That was not so funny.

    6. First doll related injury: Tonight when I was putting on My 65cm, Popo doll's pants and his leg joint snapped on my palm, it left a bruise and it hurt like HECK! but so far thats it...

    7. o.o oh god what stories!

      .. so restringing really is a painful process. to get a shirt on mine today i almost took the head off but since i had a hard time unhooking it i decided i'd never be able to pull him together again... (luckily the shirt did get on without killing his face in the end) i think dressing him takes a few blows to my sanity since i'm also worried i'll break his fingers... but never worried about mine before!

    9. I was changing Barron's clothing (Barron from Iple House) and The pants I was putting on him were a little snug. Somehow his torso shifted and it pinched the skin on my index finger. Man that really hurt! I told him if he ever hurt me again I would take away all his clothing and shoes and dress him in paper towels and twist ties. He never did it again.

    11. My dolls have never personally hurt me (beyond normal owwies from stringing), but one time I was handling Timchener's Heliot (he's now been sold). And my, oh my! If his torso didn't decide to snap forward while I was looking closely at his faceup! That horn got my straight in the forehead, and it HURT~~ I had a little weird red mark there for a few days.

    12. Cut my finger bad while I was adjusting the head - but that's rather because I have low pain sensitivity and very sensitive skin (not a good match, definitely not). Otherwise we are one little happy company (:

    14. The body joints - yes, once when I was showing his torso to a friend - so he told me that he didn't like that)))) Then I don't remember may be once or twice but never to blood. He's gentle...

    15. My first time restringing Joachim he hurt me quite a bit. Holding and pulling his elastic without the right tools gave me bruises on my fingers.

      Aside from the usual pinching when I pose him once and a while, I barely get damaged.

    16. I've had my fair share of joint pinches, but my A-S girl, Izumi, is by far the worst offender. She is kicky and seems to love to pinch my fingers at the most random times.

    18. When restringing my doll I tend to... not use tools and bruise my fingers heh..

      Oh, and once I was putting on a bracelet and caught my finger in the wrist joint as I was removing the hand : (

    19. I have been pinched, bitten by joints, Had shooks slash me in restringing. I have had magnates jump and smack me. flailing arms hit me...

      then again I do alot of stringing so I suppose if I had someone inside me messing around with my innards while I was naked on a floor/table... I would be a little testy too.

    20. From restringing, I've been pinched, cut, bruised and even chipped a corner of a tooth (tried using my teeth to undo a knot to make it tighter, DID learn my lesson tho!). Got bruised again with my fingers when I had to screw in a new S hook by hand since the original one broke and screw part got lodged. The soreness took a while to go away but was worth it to get the job done.

      Other than that, I've been kicked in the boob when I first got Chester (DH Ray) and sometimes over all get pinched by their joints, mainly their elbows...
