That is... as of the moment. Freya seems to be one of those who were strung just right. However, nowadays, she does kick her leg back when I try to stand her.

for me i've got quite a few pinches from my DSAM35 body which i'm selling of hohoho no more evil pinchy body!
and got hit on the shoulder afew times since my Show(dz yuu) love giving me head slams
hmm... apart from that maybe when i restring my fdoll body it gives me pinches and bruises here and there as well
but nth too major no bleeds no cuts so their kinda good compared to the guys u have

 

I burned my finger hot-glue sueding Yoru.

He's also slapped me a few times. >.> Which I fixed by sueding. Now the little bastard can't hurt me anymore.

I took my new guys head off to put in his eyes a bit better... big mistake. He's so tight strung it took me a half and hour to put his head back on and the process involved pulling, pinching, and my hand reeeally hurt after all that.

Ffff, this morning, while changing Tobi's pants, his foot decided to come off. And I've never practiced restringing him before. So I tried putting his entire leg back on.
By myself.
Without those clampy thingies to hold the string in place.
I nearly cut off the blood circulation in my finger trying to get that foot back on. xC
It took me over 3 tries. xD

 

Hayden's slapped me multiple times, once even in the face.. I've sueded him but he still does it sometimes >>
Restringing him was really difficult, I didn't have any clampy things either.. My hands hurt for like 3 days after that. And also he pinches me. Especially on his leg joints..

My doll like, beats me up on a daily basis. ;A; That's really sad.

 

My fingers have been pinched beyond repair! And I've had a good chunk of headbutts XD

 

Yes, one of my boys has really really tight stringing. When I unstrung him and try to string him back, the elastic killed my fingers! Everytime I bend my fingers, I feel pain :B And everytime I took off his head to change/position his eyes, it's a pain to put his head back on, cause, you know, tight stringing!!

 

I've gotten a cut lip when my doll head butted me straight in my lower jaw when i was changing his eyes and white putty ^^"

 

pinching, randomly snapping forward to head-butt me, S-hooks caught in fingernails at least twice, pinching at hair...good times...gooood times. lol

 

my SD... slap me randomly (in the eye, in the face... the rest doesn't hurt too much); blister + all around bruising from restringing; hit me on the head with her resin head and nose; budgeting plan; leaving drawing & arts for these (thus sucking at painting); little heart attacks whenever she tumbles down; etc etc
I hate it when she slaps me.

 

Haha...for the first time I got an injury...nothing bad though. I had my Julius for about an hour and was playing with him doing different poses when his back joint poped back into place...right where my finger happened to be...it hurt but nothing bad.

 

I've only ever been pinched by my dolls. Now what my dolls have done to each other that's a story. All of them seem to beat up my first doll Kira. He's had his hand broken and another one of the dolls decided to scratch off part of his eye brown. None of them have abusive personalties so I'm always wonder why Kir's the only one who seems to get beat up.

I'm surprised these dolls don't come with a warning label in the packaging they come in.

It's always that damn back/waist joints that snaps.

 

Oh god, plenty of times. Though, my mother's doll hurt me the most. xD;

List of injuries by certain dolls.

Adam:
Pinching with leg joints, arm joints and chest joint.
Slapping me in the face the first few months I had him while putting new clothes on him.
Two or Three headbutts when his chest joint snapped forward when I was looking at the scratches in his face-up.

Ren:
Major pinching to the point where I would bleed with his elbow joint and hands.
Stabbed in the eye with his pointy finger while I was putting his head on the body for the first time.

Naoki:
Just pinches. He's been pretty good but maybe it is because of his loose strings.

Hisoka... -grumble-
Kicked me in the stomach, chest, leg, and face plenty of times.
And a major headbutt to the nose when I was putting him to bed. It was so bad that he almost broke my nose. Had a mjor nosebleed though. So I'm very careful with him. Dx After all, Dollfamily resin is SO heavy..

 

I acquired my first real BJD injury today! My DF Xiangyi arrived yesterday, and today I set about unstringing him. I only wanted to remove his head at first, but he was strung SO painfully tightly, I couldn't even turn or lift his S-hook! So I unravelled him from the feet and one of his ankle hooks ripped a chunk out of my thumb as the elastic whipped up into his torso. It bled like a bitch.
As well as being too tight his stringing was at least three times thicker than the average 3.5mm! I love the doll but man, Doll Family needs to chill out with the tension.

 

my dolls like to pinch me all the time and my msd likes to kick when I try to dress her. I have also had one of my dolls joints clamp down on my finger and not let go! it made me bleed and hurt for a while.

 

Luts KDFs are stubborn as... well they are stubborn. I try to get Jaszi to stand. Apparently she "didn't wanna" so she plopped herself down... ON MY BARE TOES! O.e That's why I just have her pose on something like a bed or the couch. That way when she has her dolly tantrum, she doesn't hurt me. I have her listed as an eight year old, but the way she refuses to pose makes me want to list her as a five or six year old. XDXD;

 

ugh, I've obviously gotten my share of pinches like the rest of you. Anyone who's restrung a DrangonDoll uncle body must know the pain of sore, raw fingers too. The best (worst?) one has got to be from Kai though. About a week ago i was laying in bed talking to my g/f on the phone while playing with him. I had him standing up with his back to me, holding him around the lower legs, when his knees gave way and the back of his head nailed me in the nose. Sweet Jesus, when a 65cm doll falls over like a tree and all that momentum gets you right on the bridge of your nose it pretty much stops any and all thought process. All I could do was swear and hold my nose while my eyes watered. I couldn't even tell her what had happened for a good 30 sec lol. Luckily I didn't even get a nosebleed but holy hell that was painful. I think he felt bad about it though because he kept covering his face for the rest of the night like he was upset.

 

I don't know if there's a thread like this, but here goes~

I have read stories about dolls who "kick" and from what it sounds like is not very pleasant to get hit by a doll. But how dangerous can dolls really get?
