Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Yeah, it was a bit funny though. The strings were so tight, his arm kept flinging up in front of his eyes, as if he were shielding his face from the "sun". I laugh because his character is a vampire.

      Still scared to restring one though... Maybe if my dolls love me enough, they won't bite...? >_<;;

    2. I've had my girl's display shelf and my girl fall on me before...I told her to lay off the sweets...but she wouldn't listen. And once I was trying to stand my boy up and his head hit me in between the eyes...I looked like a unicorn for a week!

    3. Something similar happened to me, too xD I was dressing Ryog and while pulling his pants upwards his upper half bent forward. His head hit me right in the middle of my forehead :doh

    4. so... last night we had kindof a sewing party. at the end i stood my sha up to admire what i'd made for him. i then turned my attention to my iPod to change songs and suddenly he started falling backwards... instinctively i dropped my iPod and went to catch him and my fingers got caught between his head and the sewing machine... it felt like when you slam a drawer on them or something... HE however was unharmed...

    6. Restringing usually makes my fingers sore, but i attempted hot glue sueding last night and got the normal hot glue burns. But my souldolls S hook in his head at first i couldnt pull it up so i tugged even harder, i had a deep red/blue bruise on my finger from trying to lift it, i didnt have proper pliers at the time :/

When I first got my Sabik, I rather underestimated just how heavy he was going to be, so I was kneeling next to a table trying to get his knee joints to lock right, and getting pinched several times by his knees in the process, but then he started to pitch forward and fell right on top of me.

      Those things are heavy! D:

      Other than that, my Warrick has kicked and slapped a few times, so has my MinDelRe, but she's too small to do any damage. xD The only one who hasn't is my Ryushin. Such a mild mannered doll.

    9. Nothing worth mentioning, just sore fingers from restringing. It felt better within an hour or two. Maybe I jabbed my fingers with a needle while sewing?

      Some of these injuries are surprising! Be careful everyone! :)

So far the worst thats happened to me is bieng headbutted. as soon as i got my Oreo(Soom Heliot) out of the box I held him up all proud to my boyfriend and said " look! i love him, what do you think?" and as soon as i finished my sentence he tipped backwards, right onto my head -.- at least my boyfriend thought it was funny ::sweat oh, and his ears are pointy! I took a little nap with him one day and woke up to change positions, only to notice all the little red indentations in my arm from his ears.
      Other than that hes been very good, but i suspect when the other dollies start to arrive many more injuries will come... especially as revenge from my floating head, Alice.

    12. I've been pinched by both joints and the S-hook in my Feng's head, as well as have it cut my finger a bit. He did snap forward once and headbutt me in the nose once... Ahaha :)

      Luckily my boys haven't been too bad. I do get pinched occasionally >< Sometimes head butted or kicked. I usually poke them in the ribs repeatedly and ask them if they wanna fight.

      Mephisto did slap me across the face knocking off my glasses once though. Apparently I am not allowed to kiss Tak. While watching dvds on my laptop I leaned to kiss Tak's cheek and Mephisto's hand flew out of nowhere.

    16. I was changing Fry's eyes once and when i was taking my finger out, the s-hook caught on it and tore a chunk out. x.o

      Haven't had that gruesome of an injury yet, only a lump on the head.
      That was when I was changing Hero's pants for the first time and he decided to bend over and headbutt me. OTL;;

    18. I haven't been seriously harmed while working with my dolls, but I have while sewing for them. I have a pink leather waist cincher for my SD girls that actually has my blood on it. I was trying to figure out one of those "simple" islet setters and just royally messed up my finger-cut it pretty bad. So whenever one of the tall girls wears the laceup waist cincher I arrange the ribbon lacing to cover the carnage. To add insult to injury- none of the islets stayed in the holes either :(

    20. :doh I was trying to change the hands in the Elfdoll Hazy and the elastic was so tight it caught my finger in the joint... at the time I was totally freaking out... now that I think about it, it probably looked pretty funny.:lol:
