My crew are one gender,

Kaiden, Sadie, Jaxxon, Rivven, Chevy, and even Hunter (Pipos Bao, genderless sculpt) is a definate boy.

Sparrow and Mercy are girls.

They tell me what gender they are, it's part of their character.

I don't think I could have a doll that switched genders,

My boys might wear skirts and lace and frilly things sometimes, but they're deff. boys.

 

I only have plans for collecting child dolls at this point, so it's not so much of a factor because most of the sculpts can be styled either way, but as for adult sculpts, the facial features usually have a masculine or feminine quality... i must admit I get confused with the sex change mods that a lot of people seem to enjoy, and also struggle with all these long haired pretty faced males lol. If i were to have an adult male doll I would want him to look like a man :P. To each his own though, and even if i get confused, they are still lovely dolls haha.

Even with my child dolls, they will all stick with one gender or the other.

 

I like too much the "story-thing" from the dolls. I mean, I find funny making a story and giving the doll a personality and a past. So I think I couldn't switch his or her sex or personality...

All my future dolls will have only one sex/gender.

 

My dolls are pretty much set in their characters/personalities, which includes their gender. Admittedly, none of my dolls could really pass as the opposite gender as I tend to get boys who look like boys, and girls that look like girls.

 

My current dolly as well as all of the ones on my wish list are all one character so they are all that one gender. And I only have one boy on my wishlist (the pukis don't count). Each has a very specific style, very specific wigs and face-ups, and things like that. So I don't switch genders and Sanyu has a habit of not posing when I put her in anything that is not her style.

 

I have a doll that switches gender. It has no bits and it's the imaginary friend of one of my other dolls, so it's whatever she wants it to be. It's kind of fun.

All of my dolls are, and will always be, one sex. I think it would wierd me out if I changed them back and forth...

 

While my dolls may dabble a bit on either end of the gender spectrum, I do decide from the beginning whether they will be male or female. It's just easier that way. However, I wouldn't mind having a transgendered or androgynous doll in the future.

 

I have one doll who changes gender and one with no gender. But all my dolls have one personality/character.

For doll with gender switch I plan to get 2 bodies - male and female. It's primary a "he", but he's a mage who can change his form, so here we go.

Doll with no gender is a non-human character with difeerent gender system. Though when around humans it prefers to pass for a girl (cute and harmless) so it's call itself a "she". And fittingly it's a puki. No gender bits.

My dolls all have one gender, and their personalities have grown and changed a bit, though their core personalities remain the same.

 

My DZ tiny was purchased to be male though it doesnt have sex parts. I kinda grew 'bored' with him and recently changed him into a girl. I loooove her to death now. She looks completly different and innocent.

My Abio Angel [Asagi] is male but with very long hair and I guess he has a "womanly" face. My Angel of Dream [Ruiza] was also male and looked pretty feminem. The reason for this is because I made them look like members of a Japanese rock band named "D"... and ... well look at them! They are so beautiful *-*




My Kdoll SP Kill-u [Shinji] looks pretty feminem too.. he had geisha-like faceup done and thats how the chick sold him to me. I think she used the head on a girls body but Im making it into a boy. He will also have a twin brother but he wont look so girly.

Uh.. I guess I just like pretty boys 8D

 

I don't think I could ever change my dolls so much that they change or swap gender. I will always just stick with what it came as.It already bugs me when someone in my family calls Kotaro a "she" I correct them more than I would if someone misgenered one of my pets.

 

Nooo, I like strongly defined bodies, (even though I go for androgynous faces and clothing styles) so this would not work for me.

 

I like. . . both? I have boys that are definitely boys and girls that are EXTREMELY girly. . . but my incoming Bygg will be technically genderless, though she identifies more as a girl. Same with Afi, actually, since Soom equipped Afi and Ai with supposedly hermaphrodite bodies. Afi might wind up being even more androgynous than Bygg. I love the idea of a character that changes gender/is genderless/etc. But I also love my well-defined men and ladies, and I have my eye on a Dollfie Dynamite body and an EID boy.

Now, I answered "One sex" but there's a caveat. I have a particular character who's inherited a curse to switch between genders... and I'd be more than happy to have this same character in doll-form. In fact, it would be simplicity itself to have a floating head that can swap between the two MNF bodies that I have, depending on what gender Teagan is at the time.

I think it really depends on the character. There are a few where I can really see them being one or the other, such as with the gender-neutral body tinies--my pukis all have their genders defined by the character, not the body.
