  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       It was quite an adventure to get here for sure, but she is finally here and her shimmery blue-purple tongue is my favourite! I'm delighted that she is here, and I am very glad that I waited it out instead of pushing hard for a refund, but I do agree with @ronnie92 that I don't think I want to repeat the experience. :sweat Communication was mostly fast by the end though! I hope the long disappearance doesn't happen again.

      I'm both excited about and dreading working on her! I couldn't afford any of the special resin offers like I said earlier in the thread, so I couldn't afford to get my intended gradients "baked" into the resin. I'll need to disassemble her and do it myself, and that's going to be a big job!

    6. I only discovered Sahit recently, and I'm heart broken because the artist told me they'd only be available via sales and auctions... No more preorders. And since the last one on insta went in minutes (when not an auction), I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get one.

    7. It's better this way - the artist used to take preorders and it was very overwhelming for them. At some point they disappeared for months and it wasn't at all clear they'd respond to messages or make good on those orders. Mine took like a year longer to arrive than promised and only after I briefly mentioned it to an another Russian artist I ordered from that was outraged by the lack of communication and messaged them on their local forums did I end up getting mine...

      They're very talented and the doll is gorgeous but the way the artist went about it nearly soured the entire doll for me. Thankfully they seem to have found a way to sell them now that is seems to work better for them, but it is a bummer about availability.

    8. @Sept I couldn't agree with @ronnie92 more, it's better this way for sure! The pre-order model is not for this artist, and that's fine now that they've sorted everything out but it did take a year and a half for them to do so. For a while, we even had scam warnings at the start of the thread because it genuinely looked like the artist had taken everyone's money and ran.

      Just keep an eye on their Instagram I think! They still plan on posting dolls periodically, and this kind of doll is a very niche interest in an already very niche hobby so honestly I think sooner or later the doll will be up long enough for you to buy!

    9. Yeah I suppose so... But I lived a lot of preorders like that, so I really wouldn't have minded, especially if it meant I could choose the color and parts.

      (the longer I waited for a doll was 2 years and 9 months lol)

    10. there's always hope a Sahit will pop up on the second hand market! At this point I think that'll be my best bet because time difference mean I can't catch the dolls when they get listed

      Sadly her hand got chipped during transit, making her loose a finger. But she'll be getting a replacement hand (which I hope I'll be able to put on haha)
