I hope this is the right place to post this.. A 1/12 scale playhouse came today for Anya Grace and me to work on. As we work on our project we will update. Working on the color scheme for outside right now and leaning toward Mint green with pink and white accents. Anya has a table and chair set in that color scheme. My images aren't my best but will do for right now. Spoiler: pic 2
@MartieTyler what a lovely little home! It looks like it will be so cozy! I can't wait to see what becomes of it!
Thanks..right now I am trying to figure out how I can photograph it and use photoshop to change colors to see what we like best.
So Cute There's a lot of potential there. Anya Grace is very lucky to have somewhere so nice to live in.
I have got to get started on this project. I think I will get Arya to help. I am thinking of a yellow exterior with pink trim. Mint green on the inside.
Sounds like a lovely colour combination. Very happy, sunny colours that will really nice to look at everytime
Right now I am working on painting a backdrop. Like a basic blue skies, trees and glass. I am toying with making a tree and try to find a tire swing. Thanks. I am actually procrastinating on my backdrop. The canvas is waiting. I am just procrastinating. Actually, someone ordered a miniature food item from me and as I couldn't find it, I had to turn in and make another.
I totally understand that. I’m currently working on repainting a Calico Critters home set for one of my tinies and I’ve been not working as diligently as I could be. It’s okay to take all the time you need to build up the motivation! It always makes your work turn out so much better on projects like this when you really feel that drive.
I definitely get this too. I also feel like some days I can tend to be lazy myself. It’s hard with everything going on. I think that’s totally fine though. It’s a hard time so I think it’s okay to take the time you need since life is usually so busy and it’s hard to do that for ourselves.
Hey, it's been a while since anyone has posted here....anyone working on anything new, or am I just not seeing Thread #5?
I totally forgot about this thread! I don't see a part 5 anywhere, so I think this is just where it left off. Are you working on anything tiny-sized recently? I haven't been able to make anything for him yet, but I finally got a pukipuki cupid about a year ago, and am brainstorming what I could make for him, since he'll be a little fairy guy. The plan currently is to incorporate him into the diorama i'm making for my MSD, but I'd like to come up with something small just for him!
I need to update my first Tiny house, a little suitcase for Pip the puki. In the meantime, here's a shot of a woodstove I built for a little DreamHigh Gino. This is made of cardboard bits mostly.
Aw, thats so cute! i love when people make dioramas out of other containers and things, like suitcases. That woodstove looks really cool!
Thank you! Thanks very much! Pip's little portable house was a tiny decorative suitcase. I'd like to re-do it now that I know a lot more about miniatures.
