I added some shelves to Newt's alchemy loft. Sorry for the glare. Shooting from the glass side is the best angle to show them. Looking dead on is obscured by her hanging chair. I didn't plan that well.
Thank you @Noirdoll ! Slowly plinking away at it. Need some weapons for Goblins weapons rack and I made her a fur rug that I haven;t added yet. I need to distress it. it looks too much like a toy prop(being purple doesn't help). I'm thinking I may try to paint or draw on the bottom on the second floor. So I can take photo's in a lower angle and not make it look obvious it's cardboard.
I have been building a dollhouse for my RealPukis. I started last September. It is a Glencroft, a cute Tudor cottage. I am trying to make it as realistic as possible, I am even going to thatch it! I am having way too much fun buying handmade Tudor furniture and miniatures and food for it off of etsy. I will have to make the chairs and tables myself, so that they will be the right size for my RealPukis. The house is standard 1:12 scale while the dolls are quite a bit smaller, about 1:18 scale , I think? It does make the little house look huge and spacious for them. Yesterday their Celtic knotwork door knocker came in the mail...today they delivered the custom mushroom sculpture I commissioned from an artist in Indonesia...Oh, I am having such fun with this! They need all the THINGS!!!!
@rosalynmouse I mostly finished the same house for my Real Pukis, then decided I did things in the wrong order and decided to re-do it! Here's my original version- Floors and Doors by Zoe Gold, on Flickr
@rosalynmouse & @Leo Pheonix - can't wait to see the progression of your homes, you're right, they need all the things & it's so much fun finding them, or building them.
I am having a blast making and collecting things for my Realpukis. I sculpted a cauldron and several types of bread for them. I ordered some tiny wine bottles, and a long handled medieval skillet, and a tea kettle fpr them recently. I love miniatures!
I love following your lantern development on Instagram! Here's my little lantern home, and it's inhabitant with her own little lanern:
@Budgie I love it! Did you make the tiny lantern? If you found it, it's amazing how perfectly it matches the large one.
Thanks both And I would love to say I made it but nope, I found it on Etsy and just had to get it! 7" MNF wigs, Doll size props, miniatures & dioramas by BelachixDollWorld Highly recommend her things!
Thanks for the rec! I'm pretty sure I've seen her shop before, but I didn't realize she made so many neat props!
I love it Really helps to see what can be accomplished It looks so comfy and inviting. I am in the very early stages of planning a small fairy home. Right now the idea is to make it appear like a clock with a bedroom in it or a roombox that is made to look like an old travelling trunk. right now I can't decide as I like both but no room for both in my current place.
Thanks so much I have so much inspiration for both. The clock has been an idea ever since I got more in dollhouses as a hobby and loved the Tinkerbell house in the movie Hook. So I think that is the one I may have to do. But the trunk one is so tempting too but I was thinking I may turn that idea into the carrier for my tinies if I attend any meetups or conventions.
