1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Did You Decide Size?

Jun 23, 2011

    1. I had a ton of trial and error I started off with an SD and decided it was way too big. Downsized to an MSD and still found the doll to be too big. Now i collect Yosds. :3nodding: Although sewing for tiny dolls is so hard! and on top of that, there aren't too many mature sculpts in that size...Maybe one of these days, I'll looking into getting an MSD again :wiggle

    2. My first doll which is currently on layaway is deciding the sizing of my future dolls for a while. I fell in love with her and she's not too large. She's MSD size so I can take her with me to college. I plan on sticking to that general size for my dolls to keep a theme.

    3. I typically prefer smaller dolls (MSD to tinies), but the character also comes into play. I never thought I'd be getting an SD size, but I have found myself saving up for a new boy to fit my doll story. So, I think it depends on whether the doll is mostly for me to display/photograph or if it also involves a specific character

    4. I love tiny dolls because I‘m a sucker for cuteness. And a added bonus, they don’t need too much room — but lately I noticed they claim stealthy more and more space of my living place.

    5. I ended up getting an MD because money and storage reasons. Lately I've been thinking about maybe getting a larger doll but it is a little intimidating. Especially with such a high price I'm nervous about getting it and then being disappointed.
