1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I never use gloves, and I rarely wash my hands just because I'm going to be touching my doll. Cleaning them is easy enough if they get a bit dirty so I never bother.

    2. I never use gloves and I only wash my hands if I've just eaten/they're obviously dirty/I just returned from being out of the house. I try to keep my hands pretty clean in general, so I rarely think that I need to wash my hands just to touch my doll. I just couldn't wear gloves, though, because (in most cases) I hate the sensation of holding/touching something and not being able to feel it.

    3. No gloves, lotsa love - hahaha!

I do wash my hands a lot...but that's a habit I've picked up from hand sewing. There's no point in painstaking sewing if you're going to get chocolate all over your work: lol:

    4. No real need for gloves unless you've body blushed and used a horrible sealant that reacts with the oils in your skin, in my mind.

Emma has been handled with bear hands since I got her, really.

      -snort- The wording....

    5. Gloves never occurred to me b/c my bobobie is a pretty touch cookie, as far as I can see. I have a magic eraser handy if she does get dirty, but that's about it. She's still a doll and I think dolls need to be touched with your skin, not gloves.

    6. No gloves. Gloves make your hands akward, for me at least.

    7. sometimes when dressing them because i have greasy hands..... even tho i wash them

    8. I always wash my hands before touching my dolls. Haven't thought about using gloves - I can see why I might use them on occasion, but most of the time I'll just stick to washing my hands. :XD:

    9. I always wash my hands and then wear gloves too 8V Maybe it seems excessive, but if anyone owns a crazy PAPER WHITE LE from dollmore they'd understand why I do. 8Y He gets dirty so easily :'D

    10. No gloves for me, I just make sure I wash my hands before playing with my doll.

    11. I don't wear gloves, and I don't wash my hands unless I handled something else specific that I want to wash off. I don't necessarily want to put my doll danger, it's just that I think of her like a toy and thus want to play with her at my convenience.

    12. I'm not a gloves person. I bought my doll to be played with and "kid gloves" just take too much time.

Besides that, I think she'd be annoyed at being treated like a fragile girl. It's not her style. ;)

    13. I do not use gloves...but I wash my hands obsessively.

    14. I'm not a glove person either. Unless I am covered in melted chocolate or something I will happily touch them without washing my hands.

    15. The only time I've ever worn gloves while handling a doll was when I was sanding. ^_^; I do know a guy who requires gloves when handling his dolls though. But his are mainly just for display.

    16. No gloves, but before touching them i always wash hands profusely and apply alcohol gel after the wash.

Seconding the paper whiteness from dollmore x__x the caught dirtiness are so apparent that i always keep a magic block inside the doll head.

    17. Nah, I don't really bother with gloves. I generally keep my hands washed, but I don't go out of my way to be all docter squeaky clean.

    18. No~ I don't wear gloves when handling my dolls. I just ensure my hands are clean (and I keep my fingers off their face) and if they do get smudged for some reasons, I just use a magic sponge to clean them up a little.

    19. I neither was my hands nor use gloves. I don't care if I just ate chips, just brush my hands across my pants and grab my doll.
My dolls are for playing, hugging and bouncing around with.

    20. Gloves? No. I don't touch my boy's face-up, but the rest of him is fair game. rofl. So far he's only gotten a couple of very light little marks, which came off easy enough with a Magic Eraser. He's traveled with me and even been to an anime con, and no harm done. :)
