1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Nah, I don't wear gloves unless I'm doing a faceup ^_^

    2. i don't use gloves its just to much trouble to put them on every time you want to handle you're doll... i do try to wash my hands really quick first just so i know they are clean and have a bit less oil on them but i do forget to do that sometimes.

    3. When I bought my first doll with body blushing, I bought a bag of cotton gloves to wear before I got her. I normally don't bother with body blushing for the fear of having it rub off, but she has fantasy parts (LoongSoul Lion-Elsa) and I really wanted them painted. When I received her I put the gloves on and handled her for a bit...then took them off and never put them on again. I absolutely hated it. Thinking back, I suppose I've always been one to actually want to touch things, despite my obsession for wanting to keep things pristine.

    4. No gloves, I do wash my hands and keep a towel handy.

    5. I never use gloves, only wash my hands. I find that is enough. I guess the only time I will ever use gloves is when I am handling freshly brushed fantasy parts.

    6. I don't use gloves on my dolls unless I'm spraying sealant. I feel like I have a better grip on them without them and I'm careful about not getting them covered in dirt, so it fails to bother me too much. None of my dolls have any extensive body blushing anyway. Besides, a magic eraser is always your friend if you have an accidental smudge!

    7. I use gloves when I'm posing them and before I touch them I wash my hands, call me overprotective but this is how my dolls look like new even though most of them are old =) the only time when I don't use gloves is when I change their clothes because it is frustrating, however, I wash my hands before doing it so I chose "sometimes".

    8. Love your poll question. I do not use gloves, but I do make sure my hands are clean.

    9. Magic eraser! :)

    10. Never. XD I don't really see the point at least for myself. None of my dolls have body blush to ruin, their face ups do get touched a tiny bit (all by accident) and I've wiped a smudge off with my finger...

XD; They're my dolls so I don't see a reason to treat them like glass. Not even my tanned doll gets the glass treatment.

    11. No gloves! I did wear them when doing a faceup and I might continue to do so... but otherwise, no. I am careful about them though. I always wash my hands quite a bit before handling them. I get a little obsessive like that, but I'm used to really frequently washing hands because I'm a watercolor painter- you have to keep your hands as oil free as possible.

    12. No gloves.

I don't play with them when I have food, I make sure my hands are reasonably clean, and every once in a while, I wiped them all down with a magic clean eraser.

    13. I never do! I think it helps with the bonding. :) I do wash my hands excessively tho.

    14. of course no gloves, but definitely wash hands first.

    15. i clean my hands first. I dont feel the need to wear gloves, plus gloves are not that clean anyway. they will eventually build up dust and dirt and your hands sweet so cleaning your hands first will technically be cleaner.

    16. No?
I don't see why anyway. They aren't that fragile.

    17. I don't were gloves every time I want to hold them of play with them only sometimes

    18. I'll wear gloves when doing faceups or spraying sealant but otherwise no. I'll wash my hands first though :)

    19. I wash my hands several times when handling my dolls so I don't wear gloves at all. I do have them available however if I feel it necessary but my dolls are constantly cleaned. They for some reason gather dust in their crevices quickly so I often clean that out too.

    20. That poll. Heeheehee.

-Cough- No, I don't wear gloves to handle my dolls, unless modding or doing faceups. I only touch resin areas with freshly washed hands and try to avoid touching blushed areas altogether. I never, ever touch faces.
