1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. No.
The whole fun is about touching and feeling the doll. Unless its faceup removing or putting it on. I dont use gloves and just keep my hands dirt and oil free when touching my dolls.

    2. That poll question...:sweat

Anyways, I can see myself using finger cots once my girl gets her face-up, but until then, no. I always make sure my hands are clean, anyways.

    3. I do not use gloves. But the other night I was putting underwear on my LTF and my red nail polish scuffed her, so I bought Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and cleaned it off. Now I'm worried about dressing with my colored nails! I actually had my nail tech take them off and put on shellac. It should not rub off!

    4. I wash my hands once or twice before handling my doll, but that's about it. I like the touch of resin and gloves just seem to be, to me, a little over the top. These dolls can be cleaned fairly easily and being too careful kind of ruins the fun, not to mention it's a real hassle.

    5. No, I haven't handled the resin with gloves. I just wash my hands before and after I'm done playing. When I am able to start my girls faceup, I will definitely be wearing gloves. Other than that, I don't see the point. I have gel nails but I don't think they will mark the doll if I'm careful.

    6. I don't use gloves.

    7. I haven't been as careful as I planned to be in the beginning. lol

    8. No gloves for me. I MAY try white cotton "museum" gloves if I'm poking around with eyes/heads and needing to be closer to the face up than I feel comfortable.

Otherwise, freshly washed and dried hands that are free of lotion.

i try to handle them where there clothes cover them and gently let people know to JUST handle them on their clothes.
