1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I love to wear bright polish on my fingernails, so when I do, I wear gloves to protect my boy and my manicure. But, like everyone here has said, it's just not as fun playing with your doll when you're wearing gloves. Since I got my boy, I've started painting my nails much less frequently. ;)

    2. I don't use gloves with my dolls. For me gloves are restricted to gardening and my museum studies class.

    3. I don't see the point, really. ^^ You only live once. Can't have that much fun if you're too cautious. :)

    4. Nup. No gloves for me. Like many others though I always make sure my hands are clean before I play with my lovely girls.:)

    5. Clean hands, thats all I'm going to use

Gloves would be like a barrier between my doll and I...

      If that makes sense?

I will definately use them when doing his face up though, just to make sure I don't smudge it or anything...

    6. I've ALWAYS got enamel paint on my hands from my projects so yeah, I'll wear gloves. ^_^;

    7. I love the FEEL of Resin!
      No gloves here :)

    8. I never wear gloves. I pick them up and constantly dress/undress them. My hands are normally pretty clean. But I don't really think about it to be honest. I'm not exceptionally bothered about preserving their face-ups as I did them all myself and could re-do if necessary. What's the fun in them if you can't touch and play with them properly?

    9. Well my first still hasn't arrived yet, but I can say now I probably won't be wearing gloves. As long as I am careful and avoid the face, he should be fine. To me it just doesn't seem the same playing with something when you have to wear gloves.

    10. I wish I did, I hate when they've gotten smushed or stained.
Of course I like cleaning them, because it's like bonding, but still I want to keep my kiddies nice and clean as much as possible, that's why I don't really let many people handle them without my speciel permission

    11. I don't wear gloves. If I'm going to handle one of my Order for a period of time, I wash my hands out of habit. I wash my hands all the time. Because I work around plants and dirt all day. Don't want to share the dirt. Noo.

    12. I always wash my hands before handling my dolls. Using gloves seems a bit like overkill, IMHO. :doh

    13. Bare handed; I just make sure my hands are freshly cleaned.

    14. nope, never used gloves.

he's my doll, i dont intend to sell him, i want to play and enjoy him. i'd like to be able to really hold his tiny, resin hands :)

that being said, i always wash and throughly dry my hands before picking him up... i dont want my boy getting covered with muck or sticky ;)

    15. I only use gloves when I am trying to do face up.

    16. No gloves. I always wondered why you would consider using gloves until i saw my boy today :XD: I make sure though my hands are clean before I play with him :3

    17. NO gloves, I only wash my hands before touch them.

    18. I don't use gloves, but I make sure to wash my hands well before handling them

    19. I never thought of wearing gloves! I try to have clean hands, and no lotion or other greasy substance on me.

    20. It's never occured to me to use gloves when handling my dolls. I can understand why some people would want to though, but I guess I've just never thought of it as that big of a deal, I bought them to play with and pose, not to display in a case anyways, so fingerprints it is for me :p
