1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you carry your dolls?

Jan 26, 2006

    1. Why is that??:o

    2. Dad doesn't like vampires, and it's like,EVERYONE in the towns surronding us,and this town know my dad.

It's like he doesn't want his reputation spoiled.

And we're going bowling,so he thinks someone might steal Kaiden..

Between mom,dad and me,when we're bowling, atleast ONE of us will be sitting down, and whoever is sitting down could watch Kaiden...

      But nooo,he won't do that..

So now I'm sneaking Kaiden with me in a oriental style makeup bag, used as my purse...

      :] See,he doesn't always win.

I WILL keep a watchful eye on my purse though, with my little Vampire inside it

    3. Squee! I came in second on both bowling games ^.^

    4. Are Dollmore bags any good? I'm looking for a carry bag too, but I can't find one a suitable size for my 65cm Spinel, apart from the 70cm bags. Arrgggh the normal ones are always a few cm off!

    5. I carry mine in a boston bag. It has room for about two 60cm dolls + futons

    6. My mum bought me a Jolly Jumper for my boys... but they don't both fit in it TT^TT

So I bought the bags from DollMore... I got the model sized ones... I know they're pricy but they're good quality and they will actually fit my 2 boys.

I normally do carry them around my house... but having 2 boys (1 64cm and the other 70cm) They get DAMN heavy after like 10 minutes! xD and I'm also not able to do anything else cause my arms are taken up... leaving me to turn on a off lights with my teeth... xD

and if I ever tripped and fell oAo;;; omg I'd cry... I'd totally say just invest in the doll bags. They my be a bit of money, but it's a good investment to protect your dolls :)

    7. This bag here is pretty cool: http://us.sk-coolcat.com/front/bin/ptdetail.phtml?Part=bag_ny_2

I just bought it for my Luts CP Delf. I have both of his pillows in there for padding, so there's not much room for anything else. If you had a little less padding, you might be able to fit 2 in there. I'm pretty impressed with that store. I bought a bunch of stuff all at once and they included a free wig and 2 pairs of free socks with my order. I was pretty surprised. ^_^ I want to get the MSD-sized carrier now.

    8. ROTFLMAO! I know kinda how you feel.

Except I'm carrying a Mini Fee`,clothes from the dryer, and shoes.

    9. I found a nice piece of luggage on sale for my boy. It has a side handle and stretch out handle with wheels. :3 It could probably fit two SDs, and maybe a MSD as well.

    10. I have a Dollzone case, they're great and nice and light to carry around, even when they're filled with model size dolls and tinies!

    11. I carry my dolls around in a large designer backpack that my parents brought me from Italy.
It has an extra zippered pouch in the front for my wallet and other things I need and keeps my hands free. :)

    12. I have a dollshe case that I take my dollshe boy and my dollzone girl around in. I find its convient and easy for me to transport them in.

    13. How many dolls can you fit in one of those cases? They look rather roomy.

    14. They'll fit two 60's head to toe.

    15. When I went to Resin Conn 07 due to number I brought as well as size I opted to use an umbrella stroller. Now if I go to meet up they are packed in a suitcase carefully and brought out once arrived. If I was going to a meet up and only taking one or even two would carry them. It all depends on distance, number and location of actual meet up as well as weather. It's what is most comfortable and safest. MK

    16. Okay.

I'll probably just make my wallet squeal and get a Dollmore Coffin Case (the biiigg ones)

      :]

Most of my future dolls could fit in one... (except a hound/husky)

    17. I found a small fabric bag I can have hanging from my shoulder, along my left side, under my jacket, and my little 14" kid (Narsha) can sneak into for escorting me when we want to have a long walk together : picture a compromise between a holster and a baby sling, if you want. For such a lightweight doll it's just perfect. It could be unpractical for most SD and even some MSD, however.

    18. I've actually always been curious about these Yoga mat carriers I've seen. They look the perfect size, but I'm going to go back with my boy and try it out!

However, I've been using a backpack, but not too happy with bending him in it. Always afraid of him getting briken fingers.

Some of the other girls have small rolling luggage for our meet ups and they're prefect for long meets. They fit lotsa stuff and can be used for travels too! ^w^

    19. Hmm..I've always wanted to get one of those like tote styled school bags? XD I have one but it's for s few single books only o3o. I like the Rebirth ones in Dollmore but kinda costly with shipping >.<

But today I went to Morning Glory (do you have over there?) and I saw this keyboard case bag XD It reminded me of a doll carrier XD

But I think MSD are too small for it xD

    20. My friend is using this carrying bag
it does fit 2 SD size doll in it (she did as the photo shown)
      according to her words,
pros are price (compared to other 2 doll carrying bag) and space (2 SD dolls)
cons might be the size of the bag.
It's a little bit too long for her (she's about 5'5")
that it's easy to hit someone or something when she carries it around.

I have a violin case for my dolls
a regular violin case isn't long enough for SD13B (long leg ver) but it fits well with SD13G
I can't put Irmo in if he still wears wig and shoes
but no problem with Este (shoes, wig, even a hat....)
