How do you decide on a doll´s birthday?

Arrival date for me. It's just somehow easier ^^

 

My girl has two birthdays, but I see them differently.
The...traditional birthday, let's say, is her arrival date, but her "backstory birthday"(if I can call it like that XD) is different. This one was based on astrological maths, zodiac sign, stars, moons, etc. to fit her character better(Haha, yes I actually calculated all those things )

 

All of my dolls birthdays are the box opening date. I am getting another doll to replace a character I already have though but I am considering keep the old birthday for the previous doll.

 

My boys and girls are from a novel-story-thing that I'm writting at my free time, so they had a birthday day at their story, so I gave the day that they were born at the story, but the day that they arrived are special too, so I decided to celebrate both xDDD unfortunately I', always forgetting the day that they arrived...''' but I remember the day that I have ordered them ^^

 

birthday for a doll.. mhh yes if i would give it, i think will be the day of my doll will come home. i mean, first time u have your doll unpacked and letterally in your hands.

 

I like to think of it as the day they arrived. That was a very special day and something or sometimes unexpected. Sort of like one having a due date. You know when the baby is supposed to be born .... but sometimes it doesn't work that way. I like that life isn't always predictable! :-)

 

day of arrival... but... on their certificates are dates of their production... however for me those dates are only days of conception and real birthdays are days when they first lay in my hands

 

The day he/she arrived! Unless ofcourse if I want them to be a twin of another doll then I would use the date of arrival of the first doll Though I may not like their horoscope, I'm just too lazy to choose a date out of 365 days

 

if the doll doesn't have much of a backstory, then I would say the arrival date ^_^

 

October 10, the day I was due...but I ended up having my son on October 3rd, the 10th stands out to me anyway though, so my June was born on October 10th instead of my son

 

When my doll arrives i'm going to roll a d12 and a d30 to set the birthdate. With a re-roll if it comes up invalid like if it said feb 30.

 

I think my doll's birthday would be the day it arrives, or if it needs to be assembled, the day it is put together. This makes the most sense to me.

 

Like most, my girl's birthday is the date she arrived

 

I decide to give them a day..sometimes if the day they come seems pleasant then that's the day!

 

For me it's when the doll arrive

 

I say its the day you get the box in the mail. You open the box and you hold him/her for the first time. birthday

 

arrival date. if its a head, the arrival of the head as apposed to when i get the full doll. Wyns birthday is tomorrow

 

For me, I usually look up typical horoscope personalities (Cancer, gemini, so on so forth)

See what they have to say. And the one that fits my character best, I'll make the day around then.
=) I do that with almost all of my characters

 

I am still in a debate of giving Haruki his birthday when I purchased him or when he already has his own personality. Still waiting for eye chips, wig, and clothes so he is in his Missionary clothes. Though I can remember the date I purchased him because it was Anime Expo 2009 xD I will think about it.

 

Personally, my girl's birthday is the day she arrived to me. ^__^ Honestly, I had never really given it much thought XD That just made the most sense to me at the time. ^.^
