Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I don't have a doll yet but I fully intend to make his arrival date his birthday but the year will be set back. I am not sure if I want to make him as old as he looks or to go with the fantasy of an immortal that still remembers his birthday :)

    8. All of my dolls have a birthday set on the arrival date to my house. Except for Random, who refuses to have a birthday (he's adamant that he'll never grow up).

    13. My first doll is going to arrive in October, but I rather like the idea of giving her a summer birthday close to my own, in June. While it's only fitting to have her birthday on the arrival date I think I might change it on my own accord.

    14. :)I don't have any BJD's yet but I anm a lifelike Reborn Baby doll artist and I decide the birthdate by when they are completed. So I guess I would do the same for a BJD. Unless it is already complete then I would go by the day it arrives.

    15. I suppose the arrival date. The one doll I do have I bought in person, so that's her birthday to me.
      I guess if I knew manufacturing date, I'd go with that.

    16. My doll's birthday goes by his "storyline" birthday. (Although, he doesn't have a storyline. Just a personality.) His order date, which is very close to his storyline birthday, could also be considered as his real birthday, but alas...

      My future dolls will have that same sort of "storyline" birthday, too. If their order dates or arrival dates at least closely correspond with their birthdays, then I'll just use those instead.

    17. hm...i get all my dolls new so im not sure if it would be when the head gets here or when the body also comes, but i would say when the doll arrives.

    19. I have yet to get mine. It may be the date I get her, or I might make one up that I'll remember easily, though I don't actually celebrate birthdays, it'd be nice for her to 'age' and also to know how long I've had her/them.
