Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Well... for Nami, I go by the date she arrived at my house and I finished making her. For Manami... well... I am not sure. I am thinking of giving her an August Birthday... or June. I just don't know! XD Does anyone had a suggestion?

    3. I officially don't bother with birthdays with my dolls. Unless I write up a character Biography and develope the 'character' of the doll, they don't get one. Even if I do... I won't pay attention and will probably forget. I wouldn't celebrate it anyway, I have people to do that for... or even pets if I wish to extend it.

    5. I just randomly choose one. When my first doll arrived I simply looked at him and thought that 'ehm, 3.4. is fine' and that's it. One of my dolls is based on a pre-existing character and I used his birthday.
      I wonder why I've never even thought of using the day when I've ordered the dolls or when they've arrived O___o' Oh well :).

    8. I think I'll be able to determine their birthdays once I create a story for them. Because I have a ton of ideas floating around in my brain, I won't be sure until after my guy gets a head for his body. Once I get a feel for how the two will interact, I will determine from there :)

    9. The day they arrived at my house XD Bailey was 8/14/o8, Gabriel was 5/14/o9 and Remiel was 12/14/o9<--my b'day! &I swear I didnt made that up, they all arrived on the 14th! XDDD

      just wondering if your doll was supposed to arrive sooner, but no one was at home to receive it and u only got it like 3 days later (due to weekend) do you give him/her a birthday on the date he was ordered, the date he was supposed to arrive or the date you actually receive and held him in your hands?

    15. I'm thinking of using the day that I received him although I was supposed to receive him earlier (but no one was at home, so...). To me it's like:

      Date of order: date of conceivement
      Date of doll completed by maker (date unknown): embryo fully formed ^^;
      Date of shipment: giving birth in progress!
      Date of arrival: baby born!

      I guess it's a little more complicated if someone orders the parts than the entire doll.
      Anyhow... I wanted to make him a pisces but he came on a day tt was supposed to be a taurus~~~ :(

    16. I really like that, I never really thought it all the way through like that :lol: I do date of arrival as the birthday too but I will probably tweak it sometimes. You could say that the shipping day was the birthday and that he was a premmie so he had to stay at the hospital until he "arrived".

    18. The date of arrival, in my case. With the specific hour, when I opened the inner box ^_-. I chose that method, even if I'm not exactly happy with Zodiac signs they got that way...

    19. Is quite hard for me to decide my baby girl's birthday because I adopted her from my friend. XD
      However, I decide her birthday on the day I owned her completely. XD

    20. It's when I opened the box for me. Aidara, for instance, arrived at my boyfriend's house, but I had to wait till the next day for him to b able to bring her over. It kinda worked out, her birthday ended up being August 13, and that being the Master of Suspense's birthday, she appropriately went to my Hitchcock film study class, every class. Even if she was just sitting in my pack.

      The characters I get in doll-form are typically not my main characters, so it kinda helps for both looks and birthdays for them to arrive. I'm not so sure what will happen if I get my main characters... though only one of two actually has a decided birthday, because I'm lazy like that.
