Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Elfdoll gave me the date on which my doll was created, so that is his birthday. It's really close to my own!

    2. Well... I don't have a doll yet, but I've decided that the day she arrives is her birthday. I don't know... I've decided I'm crazy... but I have this feeling that the first time I see my girl... That it's going to be like one of those motherly feelings... Like it was just 'born'... ^_^()

    5. Me, I'm using the date I came up with for the character's birthday, before I even got the doll. I researched it in an astrology book, and picked a date that fit him. :whee:

    6. My Bee-a is based on an RPG character of mine, so I went with the character's birthday. For my handmade doll Kismet, I went with the day I started working on him. My other doll doesn't really have a birthday yet. If I give him a birthday, it'll probably be the day I finish him.

    7. I'd say for Jhonen, it was the day I got him, which was Fanime.

      But for Digi, it would be as soon as I get his body.

      For the most part, I think their birthdays are the days you get the doll COMPLETELY.

    8. For me, my girl's birthday would be July 5th. But that's too close to July 4th which is a holiday and b-day of a friend. So Im going to choose her birthday. Im thinking somewhere in the October to december range.

    9. For me~ it's the date they arrive.. or I guess I should say the date I open their box XD
      I received Roland two days before my birthday and waited till my birthday to open him~~ so his birthday is the same as my birthday ^__^
      But my two girls birthdays are the day they arrived at my door because I had to open them right away!

    12. I'm probably going to use the day the arrive, unless a better date occurs to me. For most of my characters in general I just pick a month and a day. Though, for some reason, if I want them to be especially young I have their birthday in August. :|

    17. I was going to use the arrival dates, but with all three of my boys arriving on month between eachother, it's going to get a little hectic. All three of them are characters of mine but Toby is human, so I chose a birthday for him through a long personality test (Answering how he would, obviously).

      I'm probably going to do celebrations and all on one day, probably Itzal's day since he's in between and keep the zodiac things for story purposes.

    18. I was going to use June 1, the day my doll arrived, but then I realized that the Astrological sign the date fell under was all wrong for the character I had in mind, mulled it over for a few neurotic hours and decided he was better off a Cancer. His birthday is now June 22. :sweat

    20. I am OCD in certain ways having to do with this. Her month and year sign had to fit her personality, and I wrote down the blood type in my character notes for her too. I don't think there'd ever be a reason to use that kind of info, but it's there. :kitty2
