How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

I like fantasy and natural hair colors. I'd love to get some for my dolls.

 

I have seen both 'natural' and 'fantasy' and have liked both. I think natural can be even more difficult to do well. As for fantasy colors, I think they can be perfect for the character. For fantasy, I think the choices are endless. I just saw a photo shoot for a fairy with a wig made of feathers and sparkly thread. It was great. (see in the 'Tiny' category... A little white fairy named Wysh). I believe a good result depends on whether the wig fits well and is styled well for the character.

 

In my opinion, I'd say it totally depends on the combination of doll's face-up, hairstyle and outfit. I can see some really cool ideas on fantasy colors, and also I see really good setups with all natural and realistic colors and outfits. My boys hair color isn't too natural, it's blueish gray, but it suits him. I am going to get some new wigs in some point, including fantasy colors and regular ones.

 

I think fantasy hair colours are pretty, but I'm frustrated by the lack of jewel tones in them; most I find are pastel or neon, which is frustrating. I also dislike Mohair, which seems to be a favourite for fantasy hair colours. I own two wigs of fantasy type, a pastel purple, wavy one and a short, white one. Wish I had more, but I can't find any I like...

I have dolls that I imagine in a fantasy world and they can come with fantasy hair colors but the dolls that just live in this world all have natural hair colors.

 

Honestly, I can't wait to try out a fantasy color. My zuzu delf toya (bunny) is going to have quite the colorful wig, but I have also been toying around with the idea of having her hair be stark white, with icy white-ish blue eyes, basically a kind of snowy, lacy, whimsical ensemble.

Life-like is just that - life-like. Realistic. Fantasy is that-- it's fantastic.

 

I love them! I mostly have more natural colors for my BJDs though. It is due to the fact that most fantasy hair colors wigs I was interested to buy are in fake fur. My first BJD had a fake fur wig and though he looked a million dollars in it, it was falling from his head every time I picked him up, even with a silicon cap underneath. And I like wavy and rather short, which is difficult to find in non-fake-fur wigs.

 

I like fantasy colours the most! In my opinion they are more interesting. But there are many nice looking natural coloured wigs too.

 

I like both fantasy and natural. All my girls have natural colored wigs but, I'm hoping to get a Bambicrony this year and my plans for her is a fantasy colored hair

 

While I enjoy seeing the variety of colors that can be done. For my personal collection I prefer only natural tones.

 

My hair has been every color of the rainbow and I like my dolls wigs bright as well. Especially now since I've dyed my hair back its natural color while it grows out.

 

I think I prefer more natural colors, but there are definitely some "fantasy" colors that I think look great. Shades of white/gray are lovely if they are done right, and there are some pastel pinks and purples I quite like, as well.

 

For me its both. I have characters with Pink Hair, blond, black, white, red, auburn, and brown. I love them all! But the main thing is that depending on which color hair you pick it has to complement the skin tone of said doll. But I must admit for hair color I lean towards the red scale and have a weakness for blonds!

 

I love fantasy colors, my own hair is pink so no surprise. I think some natural colors can be pretty but they are just boring, I prefer when they are mixed with another color.

 

I think dolls with natural hair colors are so beautiful, but all mine have fantasy colors. I'm such a sucker for mint and turquoise hair. Every time I've tried to give one of my girls natural hair, they look super funny to me.

 

I like both. I guess it depends on the look I'm going for. I might get a bright wig for my Antje when she arrives because I'm likely to buy her some cyber goth outfits. My Angell-studio doll will be more natural though.

 

Both I guess both of my girls technically have natural hair (one has brown hair and one has white) but I have nothing against crazy coloured hair, I have had a plethora of crazy colours in my own hair before now.

 

I like fantasy colors! Not all of my dolls have bright colorful hair, because i feel like the personality of the doll plays a huge part. But the ones I have, I like a lot. :3

 

I like colored wigs, depends on the colors or / and the combination of colors

 

I love fantasy colors. Most of my dolls are fantasy themed. I really like the mixed color fantasy wigs are my fave.
