How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

I prefer both! It's fun to experiment with different hair colors, personally I love fiery red! Although it also largely concerns if the color fits the doll or not too.

 

I like them the same. All depends on the doll. For example pinhead looks great with nails all over his head. I have seen a doll with purple and blue dreads that looked great. And I have seen many dolls with more average hair that looks great.

 

I think it depends on the doll, but I don't think I'd consider it fantasy colours. when it comes to it everyone can have their hair dyed in any way and colour so the doll I have with a non natural coloured wig is actually not her real hair colour but rather the color she has dyed her hair. I know it is different from person to person, however this is how it is for me and my dolls.

The only natural colors i really like are black and red) For me there is nothing like purple-ultramarine-pink-turquoise-gray-peach shades and especially pastel colors.
Unfortunately there is a real problem to find a wig that fits because shades of lavender differ as much as shades of blond or red, and it's really hard to find the right one(

 

I preferred natural colors until I got more colored pencils so i could have an array of eyebrow colors to match, Now I really enjoy mixing it up with fantasy colors. I think if you have a story or theme that matches to it really brings out the fun in the hair color.

It depends on the character I think. I have a fantasy type character and I have either pink or white hair for her, but sometimes I want to switch her to a separate character for fun and I have a light brown wig for her. Personally I prefer fantasy colors, they are so pretty ^^

 

Fantasy hair colours are one of my favourite things. It's like a little piece of the rainbow is part of them all the time. Though as luck would have it, most of my dolls have natural hair colours .

 

I love all kinds of colours for wigs! Natural, fantasy, the double coloured wigs..I think they're all beautiful. It's fun to change up the look of your doll (even dramatically!) with something as simple as a wig and eyes.

Both! I like natural on some days and fun colors on other days.

 

I like natural best, and their main wigs will always be natural colours, I love plain and normal when it comes to my own dolls, even though I'm often drawn to looking more at fantasy dolls on here! xD However I like to have some fantasy colours just for the fun of it. It's nice to use them for certain photo shots, special events, or even just if I feel they want to be a bit different that day! (:

 

Love Love Love fantasy hair colours!! Unfortunately none of my current dolls can really pull off any such colours (they all seem to look best in natural colours...brown, blonde, black etc)- but hey, one can always admire other peoples dolls with fun and fab hair colours!!

 

I like both, though my dolls have quite natural colours. Actually one of them has a torquoise wig but she had/should have a black one. I should really make it.

 

I have a fondness for them- always have, but it makes me not want to dress the doll in certain colors because it'll clash with their hair. D:

 

I like both. I've seen dolls that looked great in natural hair colors and fantasy hair colors. Most of my dolls have natural hair colors, and the majority are dark brown/black. But one has bright red streaks in her hair and one has silver-gray hair. One of my dolls has silver-white hair with lavender streaks in it, but her skintone is similar to grape juice so a "normal" color would look really strange on her. The doll I'm waiting for now is pale lavender, and I haven't figured out what hair color she should have yet.

 

I tend to dye my own hair unnatural colours (purple mostly) and have always loved OCs with unnatural hair colours when writing/creating Fantasy types, or modern day stories, so am always in love with seeing unnatural coloured wigs. I have a purple tipped wig on it's way to me for my girl, and she'll have purple eyes. I have nothing against natural hair colours, but love having characters with vibrant purples, pinks, blues, etc hair.

 

Needs to be more of them, I'm having THE hardest time finding non-pastel non-girly wigs for a boy I'm waiting on. Trying for straight center part no bangs or at least not frilly, but in bright red, bright blue, bright green, or a golden shade of blonde is... It's a pain. Oof.

 

I love both! I tend to gravitate towards Fantasy colours though, simply because they fit my aesthetic.
