Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

    1. I’ve seen dolls (and owners!) pull off just about every single hair colour... but for my own dolls, they usually end up with natural colours! And then they’re usually brown or black! I have one and am planning a second blond, and two planned fantasy-white haired dolls... but other’n that the default around here is dark.

    4. I like both. I've had natural colours, and have used pink and white wigs on my doll. If it suits the character of the doll, then crazy hair will look nice too.

    5. Most of my dolls started out with natural-colored hair, but lately I've been trying to find an excuse for some of them to have fantasy colors... because I have some wigs I really want to use, and some k-pop stars as inspiration...
      But most of my dolls seem to decide on their own what wig they want, and so my collection of black-haired dolls continues to grow.

    6. It just works for some dolls I think. No different than people walking around with fantasy colors. If my doll is in the mood for some wild sexy rainbow hair then I will do my best to please him;)

    8. I don't think I have a preference and I've had dolls in both, though with the exception of my pkf Tori and my elfkin Leif, almost all of them look better in lighter hair colors. Tori looks good in any color wig I put her in, and Leif does look cute blond, but I prefer him with darker hair usually in shades of brown.

    9. I think fantasy colours for wigs is great! I would use them more on my own dolls but alot of the characters have more 'normal' hair colours.

    10. My (recently purchased!) doll is going to have different personas so to speak, and one of which I was thinking of having with this wig! I'm not typically a fan of green ANYTHING, but I love this wig; it looks perfect for what I'm going for and will be totally different than the two other wigs (blonde & brunette) I've already purchased!

    11. I love both fantasy and natural hair colors. It depends on the look I'm going for with that doll. That being said, most of my girls have either dark brown or black wigs.

    12. Speaking as someone who has teal/blue/green hair herself I love the idea!

      Personally for me it's about what color fits the dolls particular style and character. If I invision them having normal color hair then they have that. If I can see them having fantasy color hair then they have that.

    13. I think fantasy colors can look *so* beautiful on dolls, especially if the clothes, general aesthetic, or character of the doll match. Lavender and platinum wigs are my favorite atm. :3nodding:

    14. My boys aren't here at the moment, but when they get here, I'll have one doll with a fantasy hair color and the other with natural! Sera will have white/platinum hair and Jean will have a dusty honey blond. I like both types of hair colors, but I do see myself being more fond of specific unnatural hair colors over others. Specifically white, dark navy blue, platinum, dark purple, and pastel colors like mint green and baby blue. :love

    15. I have both. Most of my dolls have more natural colors but I also have some dark grays, a pale pink and a sort of white with pink and purple.

    16. As someone who has dyed blue hair, I have no problems with fantasy hair colors. I’ve been looking at a silver-lilac wig for my girl that I’ll probably get once I get her and she’s settled in.

    17. I personally like fantasy hair but i have no objection to natural hair colours.
      At the end of the day, if it matches the character and the image you had in your head and youre happy with the look then its all good.
      (although, i feel as though i should mention that one of my dolls has trashy rainbow hair (that i love))

    18. I love fantasy hair with pastel colours it makes the appearence of the doll more delicate, natural colours are beautiful too, I love every natural hair colour. Both fantasy and natural have their own qualities and charm .

    19. I honestly find myself mostly using natural colored wigs. Though I like the idea of fantasy colors and enjoy trying them out... I have a hard time making them actually work for my dolls. :sigh

    20. Honestly I love them but the craziest hair colors I have for my dolls are bright cherry red. Then a brown wig with green highlights a black wig with orange highlights and then a blue wig with blond under it.

      I love 'em though since they fit my dolls character. And that's what it really depends on. None of my characters who have insane hair colors I've wanted to shell as dolls either due to space or them just not having a story.
