How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

I like both! My dolls are a mix of both fantasy and natural hair colors. Three of my dolls (hair colors red, pink, and purple) dye their hair in the story, so I don't know if that counts. But the doll in my profile pic, has natural grey hair (in my story, grey is a natural hair color). But I think hair color depends on the doll/ character.

 

Love it! Mischief has flame red, mayhem is getting a new awesome gradient wig made soon, and Pandora has purple hair! I used to have a doll named Acacia will green hair because she was a tree XD
I'm a middle school art teacher and I also have purple hair in real life. RAINBOWS !!!

 

Since most of my dolls are anime themed, the unnatural hair styles and colors just kinda go along with the doll. Though, the natural hair colors, IS what makes the dolls look so unique, and life like so there is that.

 

Not a fan but I don't mind it.

 

I like the natural colors. Gray and silver are cool though

 

Considering my hair is always changing colors- I'm a rainbow girl -I love fantasy wigs. But I have a good mix of both fantasy and natural colors, because it depends on the look I'm trying to create. For the dolls, hopefully, I will have bought by the end of the week, I try to see her in colorful wigs, but she keeps looking in my head with earthy tones - frustrating, but I'll wait to have her in my hands before deciding.

 

I love bright unnatural colors for hair, since my dolls never come anywhere close to realism in any aspect. I try to design my dolls' look based on blocks of color, and those colors tend to be loud if they're there at all.

Honestly, though, I like black hair most of all. Matches with everything.

 

I tend towards natural colours personally -because of co-ordination issues. I just can't stand pairing shades that clash badly. So were I to get a bright fantasy colored wig that would rule out half of my dolls outfits as being suitable to wear with it.

But in general, I prefer natural colors.

 

I did a poll a few days ago on my insta about colours people prefer and the consensus was that people love fantasy colour

I'm biased to fantasy colors and I personally think natural is too boring for me ;; (but this also depends on the type of character i'm going for)

 

I love fantasy colors slightly more than natural hair colors. I am hoping to make my first wig soon. It is going to be black & dark purple with streaks of teal.

 

I am alright with both natural hair colours and bright ones, I find that it makes for a lot of diversity when it comes to a doll collection!

 

I love both of them, but I think I would tend to get natural colors as well. Although if the character has the personality of coloring their hair a fantasy shade or you just want to, I say try it out!

Depending on the character and design, I'm fine with them. However, for myself personally, I wouldn't over do the fantasy color hair colors.

 

I think they're great. My ultimate goal is to have at least three dolls each with different styles: 1 casual, 1 fantasy,1 creepy / horror. Right now I just have the first, so I only have natural-colored wigs. Eventually that will change, though

 

All my dolls have natural-colored hair, but fantasy hair colors are so fun! My dolls are all based on story characters, and none of them live in a particularly fantastical setting or do special things to their hair. Sometimes I wish I had a fantasy character I could shell who has loud, colorful hair, or even a character who likes to dye theirs. Hmm...
