How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

It kinda depends on the character.
One of the dolls I plan on ordering next will have fantasy colored hair, in light blue. But the others all seem to have natural hair colors.

 

I looove the look of fantasy wigs, but I think I’d prefer to keep my dolls in mostly natural colors. Although I’m VERY tempted to get a mint green wig. There are so many pretty pastel ones.

 

I enjoy both natural and fantasy hair colors! Also I think it will depend on the character of the doll, like I want my boy to be super pastel so I got him a purple wig haha

 

I'm a fan of both. I love the colors you can get with fantasy styles, most of my dolls have wild colored wigs. Only 2 have natural. ^^

 

Not sure if we have the same understanding on “fantasy” colors since I consider anything that’s not black brown ginger-red and white/grey as fantasy colors lol. I do own both (not specific dolls I change them up a lot honestly.) and I think it really just depends on how you want the doll to be. They can look perfect either way.
However I do feel like pink hair looks the best on dolls with darker skin

 

I prefer natural colours, but I do like fantasy colours for dolls as well, because it's such fun trying out eye/skin/hair combos. And I can play out all my colour fantasies on their little heads that I cannot be bothered to do on my own hair

 

Depends entirely on character and sculpt. Some just suit fantasy hair colours. And then there's what can you actually dye your own hair too influences natural too so...it's kind of weird.

 

It depends on the doll, and especially on the blushing because I hate it when the eyebrows are a completely different color than the wig.

 

I have both! But it really depends on the style of the doll for me I prefer natural colours on my yosd girls because they’re like small children and wouldn’t have coloured hair for my big girls; some of them look totally amazing! But I’m yet to have any one doll stick to any one wig

 

I like both. at current point I only have natural color hair characters. I want more pinks and greens on account of wanting to dress the doll up as certain characters.
As for dolls, the one doll who actually wears fantasy colors(mostly pink) hasn't shown up yet.

 

I like both but mostly have natural colours, also natural curl, I just like the way it looks!

 

I personally don't put fantasy colors on my dolls but when I ordered my first doll and realized she wasn't coming with a wig, the race was on! I ended up buying a gorgeous purple which is in my profile pic! But if I have the time to actually plan how my dolls will look, I go for natural colors.

 

I absolutely love fantasy hair colors, though I feel like if I were to use them, it would have to fit the character of my bjd. Luckily, the majority of my planned dolls are all based in a modern fantasy setting, so I can use crazy colors to my heart’s content!

 

I'm fond of both, I don't like one over the other. It just depends on the doll and the character I'm creating which wig I choose to use.

 

I love both. I think in general I just like odd hair styles or colors that have a strong contrast against the doll's skin color. For example, a dark skinned doll with ginger hair or a white skin doll with dark black hair. If a fantasy color fits the bill then I'm all for it!

 

I like fantasy hair colors.
I have dolls with blue, red and even rainbow hair colors.
When I make a face-up, I draw the eyebrows with a matching colors.
Curiously, I don't like unreal resin colors, but hair is fun!

 

I;m not really a fan, i have a souldoll aehael in light magenta an its hard to do faceups and idk im just not feeling her

 

Depends on the look u are creating for your doll some suit bright fantasy colours and some suit natural colours

 

I like different hair styles. Each doll can have several wigs of different colors.

 

I enjoy natural and fantasy hair colors. I would say of the dolls I own, it is a 50/50 slit of ones using a 'natural' wig versus a 'fantasy' wig. All my dolls have multiple wigs so some of them use both natural and fantasy colors depending on the time of year or my mood. It all depends on the character honestly. I also think I like to see my dolls wear fantasy colored wigs because it makes them different. More "other-worldy" in a sense.
