Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. How do you feel about fantasy hair colors?

    1. I like both ;)
      I usually buy natural colors like ashblond, gray and black, but my favorite color of doll wig is light blue. I am using it very carefully because there is only one light blue wig that I really love :) I like fantasy colored wigs and natural colored wigs because they give me a different vibe.

    2. I only have one doll with fantasy colored hair. I vastly prefer natural or near natural colors for whatever reason. I'm not against fantasy colors but I just don't have dolls whose character/aesthetic need them.

    3. I don't mind fantasy colors for hair if it fits the character. Thanks to anime I barely bat an eye at crazy hair colors anymore. The styling and wig quality bothers me more. lol

    4. As long as its more desaturated pastel color rather than neon blue or pink, I am fine with it. I prefer muted palette dolls and have currently light pink and lilac wigs as well as brownish ones.

      I don’t mind seeing crazy colors on heavily stylized dolls though!

    5. I went into BJDs with the intention of having natural hair colors, because my characters are supposed to be...as realistic as possible. Leander, the boy in my avatar, was supposed to have long curly black hair.

      But when he got here he hated it. Right now he's waiting for a very dark purple wig to come in, as that's the color he told me he wanted.

      And my other boy was supposed to be light blonde, but I ended up grabbing a really pale aqua wig for him oopsies. And my girl said "PANK" so. I guess fantasy colors it is xD

    6. ive dyed my hair almost every color in the rainbow so im no stranger to wild hair lol! personally i love it for dolls! especially ombres or rainbow mixes they're so fun!

    8. The main reason why I collect and play with BJDs is for the reason of exploring fantasy concepts and unique fashion styles, instead of trying them on myself.

      So yes, I'm totally for fantasy colours, and would always try to get my hands on unique releases!

      I have had a vibrant colour for my own hair before and also have a collection of cosplay wigs. I find hair colour really fun.
      Some of my dolls do have like standard hair colours they’re supposed to have on a daily basis, but the great part about wigs is changing it up as you like. :chibi
