Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I think it depends on the character. But right now colored hair is very "in" so I think any character can have fantasy hair. Even me! haha! I just made a wig recently for my surfer girl, and she has seafoam streaks. I like it!

    2. I love them!! But then I was raised on Strawberry Shortcake and Jem dolls, so there was an endless supply of colorful haired dolls.
      I thought nothing of it, a dark chocolate brunette and a flaming redhead are equally beautiful to me. : )

    3. I only liked natural hair colors in the past, but now I love fantasy hair colors on some of my girls - light blue, pink and violet wigs are especially my favorite ones.

    4. I don't have anything against it, I've had so many hair colors myself, blue, green, purple, and various shades of pink. Maybe because it was a real thing for me, and not a fantasy my dolls are less likely to do it? They are an almost suspiciously ordinary looking bunch.

    5. That's the wonderful thing about wigged dolls. You can easily change their hair color. Mine usually stay in a natural color, but it is fun to use a wild color once in awhile to go with an outfit or theme.

    7. Actually I like fantasy or unnatural hair colors, because it seems cute and beautiful for me, but for my current and future dolls I prefer more natural colors just because of the characters I choose.

    8. I loooove fantasy colour wigs. I myself have had different hair colors that are nor natural before and having a doll who can have different color wigs that they can switch between is so much fun because I can't change my own hair every other day, so i can do it through my dolls. xD

    11. I love both, personally. It depends on the look you want for your dolls, as well as what outfits you want to dress them in. Fantasy colors (Except for white) tend to clash with certain outfits more than natural colors because of the bright shades they come in. Natural hair colors go with a wider range of outfits without garish color clashing, so that's a plus. Some fantasy colors just look very pretty on the right doll and as someone who enjoys cosplay I must say I would love putting a doll in some bright pink, soft blue, or fire engine red hair from time to time.

      Overall, it really depends on the look you're going for.

    12. I like both equally. There's something extra fun about fantasy colors though, because it's not something you see everyday. It also helps to link the dolls back to the culture they come from, since wild hair colors are pretty common in cartoons, books, tv, etc... I will be using both equally I believe. It's whatever fits for the character.

    16. I love colourful wigs! I am also crazy for Pastel wigs like light pinks, blues and purples. Maybe because I personally look so terrible in pastels....

    17. I personally dye my hair like there's no tomorrow so fantasy coloured hair is A-OK with me. I'm especially liking the current slew of vibrant rainbow-coloured wigs (my favourite is HappyCamillE's Rainbow Fairy/Elf for SD's). I'm also loving the ombre wigs that have been making an appearance lately.

    18. I adore fantasy colors. I prefer fur wigs and the wild colors come cheaper so out of thriftiness and love of color all my dolls sport fabulous fantasy hair.
