1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you keep your dolls?

Dec 27, 2006

    1. I keep mine in little dioramas on custom shelving in the spare bedroom. Sometimes, I have one hang around with me during the day, or stay on might nightstand at night but usually, they're in their own little world.

    2. I put my dolls back in their box.

    3. My dollies have their own shelves in my closet. I will occasionally have one out on my computer desk but I get paranoid about them being exposed for too long in the sunlight and my cat loves to push them off my desk... so they need their own safe space!

    4. When he was naked, I always put him in his case come night time.
Now I display him proudly in my computer table!

    5. I actually keep them on my dresser, they get to see whatever I'm doing. When I watch Youtube BJD video's, they get to see them too ;)

    6. I actually have no real space to make them a room so I keep them on a shelf or wherever they ended up when I last played with them :3

    7. Most of my dolls right now are crammed into a box room. My smaller ones will (hopefully) be moved into a doll house within the next couple months or so.

I'd like to do more houses, I had originally planned to do a 1/4th scale flat for my MSDs, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to doing that.

For my DDS I only have her and no real props yet, so until that changes I'm not sure if I'll bother much with it. I have a rough design idea that I want her display to be at most one or two rooms big, and to be roughly themed with light creamy stones and a lot of ivy.

    8. I am planning on making alittle room that fits into my shelf so I can keep them in there :)

    9. I have my boy's box opened on my shelf and after playing with him I put him back in and cover him with the foam that was shipped with him. I am literally half blind without my glasses which I refuse to use 99% of the time and can't see him even if he was sitting on my shelf. So it's no use yellowing him out there.

    10. I have a shelf in my bedroom closet where they stay
But I want to get a couch in the near future so they have a comfy place to stay

    11. As the apartment one-room, isn't a lot of place, all my dolls are in the boxes. It is convenient, and also they are less subject to the sunlight and fouling. :D

    12. I have ne US rein that was so yellow when I got her [on ebay with no mention of such] that she stays sitting on top a book case with her sisters. But the other 2 US resins stay nekked in their boxes on one of the closet shelves sideways so nothing can happen to them until I get an area redone by massive moving around of stuff and get some more of those 6 1/2 foot glass and wood display cases from like the 90s that are floating around so they can be stored out without much fear. I have one already for some plastic dolls of mine and when I am not looking at them I flip a cloth door cover piece I have screwed to the top of it down to where they aren' assaulted by sunlight. I think that will also work pretty good on the resins if I find some more or at least one more case and mix and match them with other dolls until they create their own army. I think I could probably do 3 rows of msd size nd have other dlls that are the same

    13. Most of my dolls all chill in our office (second bedroom) closet on high shelves. The Dollshe boys sit on top of some stacked doll boxes right now because they don't fit on the high shelves lol (too many doll problems) but we're hoping to put something nicer together for them soon.

It keeps them protected from the sun, but since the closet is nice and big, they're still pretty accessible :)

    14. All of my dolls are on a shelf. One day, I'd like to get a cabinet for them but I'd need room for that first. ;)

    15. I have a special shelf purely for my dolls. it is in my bedroom where not much light enters. I don't have furniture with them yet they all pose differently. I like being able to look at them in the morning when i wake up or in the evening before I go to sleep. They are not always on this shelf, I often have different dolls standing by my side while I work as they inspire me greatly.

    16. My 70cm guy cosplays a Pokemon character and sits on the extra bed surrounded by Pokemon plush. The yo-SD sits in the bookshelf next to some books. The rest are on their own short shelf along with other doll supplies. :)

    17. i...put them all ard my bed.. even tho i got abt 30 of them.. i will miss each of them if i dont put them somewhere i can see

    18. I used to put mine back in the box as I didn't have a shelf to sit her on, but I now have a shelf which she sits on.

    19. I leave all of mine in their boxes and take them out individually when I want to play with them or take pictures. The only exception is Yasu, my Soom Crow. He sits in my dresser with closing doors. I don't have lots of room to display them currently, but I do have enough room for storage and then I don't have to worry about dust or yellowing when I'm not playing with them.

    20. They're currently sitting on the only shelf in my closet... I feel a little bad for them since it's not the nicest spot, but when I moved house, I had to leave a lot behind-- both my furniture, and theirs. So they don't have their little daybed sofa thing, and I don't have the little table in my room that I'd used to house their sofa and them. Once I have a bookshelf with adjustable shelves again, I'll be able to make them a little room-- I've got a spot against the wall by my window, so that they'll be out of the sun, which means they don't need to spend as much time under their dust/sun cloth (also, less dust where I live now!)...
