1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your BJD, clothes, and accessories?

Feb 5, 2015

    1. I store mine in a large-ish IKEA box, along with spare wigs, shoes, my face mask, and other odds and ends. It is absolutely not effective, and I'm taking note of the many good ideas in this thread. I'm sick of not being able to find anything, or having to unpack the whole box to find something that's slipped to the bottom.

I've bought stackable, see-through, plastic storage boxes for my classroom, and I know I have a few that are unused. I think I'll try organizing my clothing in there.

    2. I don't have a lot of clothes now but before I used to store them in a box, and I ziplocked each item because I found some of the colors of clothes transfered to other clothing.

    3. I place them in ziplock bags by color and then in a well sealed trunk. The trunk is super heavy though so I will probably move them into a nice soft luggage bought recently from a thrift store. I always pictured someday finding an armoire with hangers but my girls SD/SD13 clothes are probably way too big for that.

    4. Their own closets, chests, and boxes. Too many boxes.

    5. I keep the dark and light ones in two different plastic tubs with lids :D

    6. I put the clothes in some boxes. Each box contains clothes of only one size. They are inside my closet.

    7. I don't have a lot of doll clothes, so I keep them in a couple of small decorated "cardboard suitcases" I bought at the supermarket...

    8. At the moment they're just in the only box that was empty when I started getting clothes a few months ago but I want to get some old fashioned suitcases/trunks to put stuff in!

    9. I store clothes in boxes. Boxes of other product that I bought before and who are really pretty, like : La durée, l'Occitane or box of perfumes.

    10. Miniature cedar closet with shelves for shoes, sweaters, undies, and shorts. The closet has room for full length gowns, coats, and anything else needing to be hung up. Thank you for the zip lock bag idea!

    11. i have 1 wardrobe for my doll clothes. but right now it's kinda full so i guess i need a new one:eusa_naug

    12. Now that will take a long time for me. I have 3 dresses made, stockings, undies and I bought one pair of shoes because I keep thinking I should be able to make them. Only I can't. I also am unable to cut/style wigs. So, maybe I should get a special chest for wigs and shoes!

    13. I used to store their clothes in small stacking plastic drawers, but recently I've exponentially increased the amount of clothes they have so I need a new solution. I think I might buy something larger and more decorative so I can store my things in the living room. It has more usable space then my closet where the little draws now reside. I'll report back when I come up with a definitive solution.

    14. In a large box.

    15. So, I made this out of cedar. You think I should still use plastic for the clothes? I don't know what's best yet.

    16. At the moment, they're in two plastic bins with a lot of extras that probably will never be used. I want to eventually organize it all when I get more clothes!

    17. I have a closet with shelves and the clothes themselves are in ziplocks in decorative boxes.

    18. I just have one small box for my MSD's stuff and a tiny little box for my Puki Puki's things. I'm sure this setup won't work for much longer since I've been sewing a lot of new clothes for my resin kids lately!

    19. In a gigantic zipper bag ><' I need an actual wardrobe for them honestly @.@

    20. That is a gorgeous case/closet/storage unit.
The only reason I use plastic bags is because I have many multi-piece costumes that I want to keep all the parts together for.
