1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your BJD, clothes, and accessories?

Feb 5, 2015

    1. I store my dolls in a shelf I bought for them, I modded each level of the shelf to have a little diorama of a room and then placed them in it, theres a bedroom and a kitchen, as well as a bathroom. I'm currently working on adding a closet.

I store they're clothes for the moment in a scrapbook box I bought from michaels, it's nice because then I can bring my clothes with me whenever we go visit my inlaws on the 3 hour drive from our place.

I just bought a giant cabinet for all of my dolls. I regret nothing.

And now I have room for more...โ€‹

    3. I'm trying to find storage big enough to fit. I'm sad because this entertainment center that would not fit in my room would be PERFECT (I've hated it for years b/c it's a defunct t.v. cabinet my parents--it's currently housing my mom's convent of nun dolls) and then the old t.v. cabinet from ny Nana I was told I could use is in the garage probably getting ruined.... :( But I want to retool my closet so I have a nice home for them. right now in my current bedroom set there's a few areas they can sit. I got one of those "gaming ottoman's" to house my doll clothes.

    4. I display my BJDs in a large corner cabinet away from light.

I don't have a lot of spare clothes or wigs, but I keep my hoard of urethane eyes in a small chest I inherited from my mother when she passed away. That's in my storage room.

    5. My dolls have a dollhouse that I received from my very supportive mother. Unfortunately my BJD that is on the way can't fit since she's taller than my pullips. I think I'm going to have to make a trip to ikea and get a shelving unit to make her a bedroom. Dolly clothes stay in separate bags based on the type of clothing like shirts, pants, dresses etc. I think I'm going to invest in a small cabinet for my dolls to hang their items up.

    6. I keep my girl with her extra faceplates in her box under my bed. All her clothes and eyes are in another box also under the bed, and wigs in another box, which I usually keep separately in plastic baggies and hairnets. :)

    7. I like having her out so that I can see her but she's generally "naked" I don't want her to end up stained.

    8. if nekkid is what you like fine but if you'd like to see her dressed up... a simple stain guard undergarment will fix the nudie problem ^^

    9. I actually built a little chest to store clothes in. I even fold them up as nice as I can (sometime using clothed string to make it look real neat) and then put it away like any other clothe-chest. Original plan was a drawer or a wardrobe but yeah- a chest seemed a bit unique and not too hard to do! Shoes have their own little box, those Christmas-decoration boxes are good to keep them in so I use that.

    10. I have a pair of metal boxes, like the ones that are sold containing bonbons or cookies; I do not keep everything inside them because there isn't enough space, so I only keep there the things I am planning on dressing them in the next weeks.
Other clothing (like summer clothing during winter) is kept in their companies boxes.

    11. I keep my crew's stuffs in a box. Since I hate clutters.

    12. Mine currently all hang out in their boxes

    13. I own mostly yosds and only one msd... my msd girl is sitting on a chair in my closet shelf (to avoid sunlight) when I am not playing with her, two of my yosds are inside a cushion-ed box, and other dolls are sitting on chairs with my msd girls xD (so crowded)... I keep my 1/8 with me most of the time... anywhere near the computer table or shelf ^_^

    14. My dolls have captured a bookcase, their stuff occupies most of the space in my room))

    15. I store most of my dolls inside our sofa in their boxes (it's old sofa that has space meant to store pillows, quilts and sheets during the day), right now three of them are sitting in chairs on my desk.
Clothes, shoes and wigs are in small suitcase.

    16. Now THERE'S an idea! I'll have to buy some thin wood panels when the in-laws are down and work on this with my FIL!

    17. I actually sanded the top so it's more rounded, like Victorian boxes and I colored it dark brown and very carefully drew on it. Nothing too fancy, I ain't into that, but just small figures and nothing too overkill.
Good luck and I'm glad my idea inspired someone else.

    18. Really cute boxes haha I have had a box thing since I was a kid so I have a lot of pretty boxes and keep their stuff in 'em

    19. My dolls are on one shelf of my bookshelf, and their goodies take up most of one of those three-drawer wheelie carts in my closet.

    20. I don't have enough room in my bedroom for a cabinet for my girls, although I have one in mind at IKEA that matches the rest of my furniture. I have a big stack of those decorative cardboard boxes with all of the clothes and shoes and wigs in them. My dolls sit on my dresser and on the table that is holding up the largest portion of the stack of boxes.
