1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll?

Jul 9, 2010

    1. Mine are spread out in my room.

My SDs are sitting on the shelves I have up, my MSDs are supported by stands and are standing on the dresser, and then my YOSDs, hujoos, and family of groove and jun planning dolls are all sitting or standing in between everyone else; with some sitting on my head board since it doubles as a nightstand. :D

It's dolly chaos at first glance, but it's a well organized dolly chaos. LOL :D :D

    2. I leave my boy fully clothed, but in his original pillow, wrapped in a towel, and kept in my closet! I find it's the safest way for me to store him in my house.

    3. My dolls are naked in their original pillow and box. I keep the boxes on top of my shelf next to my desk.

I don't have much space in my flat, this way they're not in the way. Also, there's sunlight everywhere in my room, it keeps them safe from it.

I used to have my first doll always on my desk when I was at my parents' house, there wasn't much direct sunlight..

    4. When I am not fiddling with my dolls I have them standing on a shelf made especially for my dolls. The shelf is in my bedroom where the sunlight doesn't reach, and even if i were to open to blinds they would be out of the direct sunlight. Although I know that they will ultimately yellow I don't mind it as I really enjoy looking at them every day.
