1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. Morean: That suitcase is awesome. You could probably get a vintage looking hat box for all of their accessories, that would go together well when they're closed.

I keep my girls clothes in a small black box that I got with an article of clothing I bought. It has a lid that's attached to one side and closes with a bow. So it's kind of like a doll size trunk. She''ll probably need something bigger in a couple of weeks. I'm really interested in getting a doll size garment rack that has wheels and is metal. There are some on eBay that are made of wood, but it would be great if I could find a silver metal one. Then I could hang up her clothes and see them all at once.

    2. I found a small decorative wooden trunk at Big Lots and it's already overflowing. I need something bigger :( I do have all of Heavenlea's hair clips and jewelry in a cute little trinket box.

    3. I got a Decorative square box at Ross that was in with the Hat boxes. As their collection grows I'm thinking I'll put it in those small canvas and metal dressers they have at target.

    4. Hmm... I was wondering what I was going to do while my car it getting worked on tomorrow. Epic journy to Target it is!

    5. I store my dolls clothing and shoes in a large opening ottoman, it does the job well!

      Sera~

    6. I'd rather have something nicer--but right now--large zip-lock freezer-bags in huge plastic bins... *_*

    7. Clothes!?! Who said they have clothes! They all just like being naked!

Na, They have draws, love the rubbemaid stuff.

    8. I just have a small plastic container with little compartments that I keep everything in for now. (I really don't own that much. XD)

But its stored in a larger drawer with all my Pinky:st stuff. (Which I'm sure will change once the BJD stuff outgrows the drawer. XD)

    9. I'm living in a shoebox dormroom these days, with already WAY too much stuff in it. (Three bookcases, overflow books, etc). But I'm planning on getting an actual trunk from the local department store, so I can keep my boy and all his things in it. I want a lockable one, not only for the whole dorm room thing, but also because I'm moving at the end of this year, to take my masters, so I have to be able to take my boy on a train. I'm not taking my books - my friends are going to keep those for me for awhile - but I must take my boy. And he needs a sturdy case for moving.

    10. I have a drawer for their clothes which I store in zip lock bags.

      Cat

    11. Right now they're all on a shelf .. :D usually I have them more organized, but Cain's big clothes take up a lot of space ... more often than not they end up on the floor. :XD:

    12. I have been stroring clothing in zip lock bags (pants in one bag, tops in another) and then I put them in a hat box. I also have a couple od doll sized closets where I store the more expensive items.

    13. A hat box! What a cute idea. It would fit under my bed, too .. hmmm .. .:thinks:. :D

    14. XD I just chuck them all in a bit brown box in the corner of my room X3

    15. For their clothes a rubermaid storage bin, one of the smaller ones but I think we may need to upgrade to a larger size. Shoes and wigs each have a basket.

    16. i just have a huge mess: shoes there, clothes in the shipping box, and also in the bag...and i start forgetting where everything is.
i guess i'll have to make some free place in the drawer and put it all there. :)

    17. I'm a trunk junky. There's an Ebay seller that make delightful doll trunks in a variety of configurations. I started with the standing trunks that have multiple drawers & hanging rods but soon outgrew those so I started buying his horizontal trunks that are just empty storage trunks. I have boy things in one trunk, girl's seperates in another, gowns, shoes, wigs & accessories each in their own trunk. I labled what each contains & have them stacked up.

I've also used plastic storage chests, plastic containers & vintage dressers over the year but I like the trunks best as when I outgrow them I can simply purchase another. They all match so they look good together too.

    18. I actually share my dresser with my dolls. Half of the dresser is for my clothes and the other half for my dollies. :)

    19. I have this cute little wardrobe I made out of a cardboard box (go, me! :XD: ), but then there was this clothes explosion, and now there's a big rubbermaid tub as well. :sweat

    20. I put my dolls outfits in a zip lock bag and use a shoe box to hold them ^^
