1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. Sadly, most of his things are currently still lying in their original shipping boxes (well padded and neatly arranged, mind you), which are arranged in piles according to what they contain. I have plans to arrange a storage setup of some sort, but it'll be a while before those plans are actually executed -- currently, every spare penny is going into my Dollectable fund. ;)

    2. I keep them in plastic baggies stored in the box dollmore sent my last order in. She only has a few outfits and wigs so it works. I saw some plastic containers at a dollar store the other day that might work later when she gets more stuff.

    3. I use their original dollie boxes :)
The boxes are nice, pretty and sturdy, and I wouldn't know what to do with them otherwise!

    4. I have a shoe box where I keep my dolls clothes...
I think I need more shoe boxes in the future :p
but buying shoes is not really a punishment for me (a)

    5. I have stored the few clothes my dollies own into a couple of drawers which their own cabinet contains :) They're not too roomy, though, and I should figure out another solution. So this topic's quite handy!

    6. We have a doll wardrobe that was bought at a fair which has some of the clothes in it though I find that the things that won't hang very well in it, go better in a trunk, usually folded and stored in a ziplock bag. The trunk was a buy from Michael's that's worked out really well as our doll family has continued to expand.

    7. I must ashamed admit that all my clothes and shoes and stuff is just all put into one big box. i always have to search for things and am often surprised to find things i had forgot i had bought or had made. but at least the shoes are coupled up in little zip-lock bags so they don't get seperated. but i have made a clothes rack for the clothes but need to get hold of some hangers to put the clothes on.

    8. I store my doll's clothes in dollie box.
Or there where I keep my dolls, in bookshelf. 8D
Very clever, I must say... I'm always missing a shoe or two, or panties... -_-''

    9. I have a whole load of large plastic storage boxes under my bed. All my doll's spare clothes and spare eyes and the like are all in one of those

    10. jap me too :)

I haven't got so many things, yet ...;)

    11. I'm so awful I usually throw my boy's clothes in a shopping bag...same for his wigs ^^; eheh...I never thought to put them in his box before *slow* I think I shall do that right now so they won't get anymore wrinkly *nodnod*

    12. I've only got one set of clothes at the moment... And they get kept in a chocolate-covered coffee beans tin. Ahah.

      So now my boy's clothes smell nice! xD;

I have a mini set of plastic drawers for stationary and things that I'm planning on clearing out for when I get more clothes. I just got it from a storage supply shop for $10, or something? : D

    13. Oh wow that is an awesome idea LOL

    14. I currently have some of my doll clothes in a file cabinet, some in the 4 carrying cases that I have, and the wigs and shoes are in a totebag. I'm not really happy with this setup though. But at the moment it was the best that I could come up with. *sigh*

    15. I have this little trunk, that looks old fashioned (maybe....late victorian?) that I was given, because they were going to through it out...it is from the local cheap shop but its absolutely gorgeous. I do use it for other stuff too sometimes so I have to turf the doll stuff out of it...on to my bed lol. It's probably about 40/50 x 20 x20 cm...ish

Unfortunately, my dolls only have one outfit each so they do not need much space, except to put their accessories (violin, cane) and wigs and the pants and outfit that doesnt fit my horatio -__-

It lives just under my bed at easy reaching range :D but I think I might have to find another place to put all of my new BC's stuff...she has two outfits already...and she is not even here yet!

I also have a little wooden box that I bought at the cheap shop for two dollars which I am going to use as Chelsea's toy box for her...toys. It is just the cheap white wood, similar to balsa (sp?) wood which I am going to paint someday :D I saw a little shelving thing at the same shop in the same wood that was shaped like a house which looked quite good for storing shoes and things for a BC sized doll, maybe I'll get that one day when I have enough room!!!!

    16. I'm going to get some containers for them eventually, but atm all of Ashen's clothes and shoes are in the bottom drawer of my bedside table. :)

    17. right now they all live in these clear plastic drawers (pretty big ones actually) since they outgrew the little chest they were in..of course, I think I need a second set soon...

    18. I really wanna a suitable closet for all the clothes and have small matching boxes for each of shoes, but actually only the dollheart shoes could have boxes and others are stay with clothes in a big box....

    19. for now i have white cute boxes where i store different items, one for shoes, one for tops etc ^^ I also allocated a cupboard space for them and i also throw in their wigs (Luts wig boxes are huge ;A;), cloth and my other random stuff. I hope i can insert a pole somewhere, to hang up some clothes ^^

    20. I have a drawer to store. They have too many clothes and accessories.
