1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I don't have a lot of stuff for my dolls so I just store extra clothes and stuff in ziplock bags in the display box.

    2. All my girl's thing fit in a plastic shoebox. When I get more than that, I'll eyeball plastic drawer units.

    3. I keep the wigs in a box that I received a doll in, and the clothes in a 3 drawer set of plastic bins. I keep my eyes in the dreawer of a metal file cabinet.

    4. Right now I keep my doll's clothes in the original box she came in, but I think I'm going to start putting them in a shoe box or a pretty chest or something. It gets annoying trying to keep all her outfits under control when the box is laying open with two pillows inside.

    5. All of my doll's clothes, accessories and stuff is kept in this big case I got when I bought my hairdryer and straightners. They came in it and I don't use it to store them now, it's portable and easy to organise :D

    6. I want to make a sofa bed thing, somewhere I can have my girls sit, but I can flip up the seat and use the underneath as storage for shoes and boots.

    7. I keep my dolls in is basket I got at waler-world (wal-mart) it's green came out around easier. As for store my doll's clothes, shoes and wigs. I have all the orinigal box that my dolls came in. Veronica's box hold all my Rozen Maiden outfit & DollMore clothes, Zacharee's Box as info on the doll (papers, face-up stuff, ex-string, layway info. & eles) Caty-Ann's Box all my of Dolls wigs that they don't wear & shoes. Tryst's Box's Clothes costumes I've make and eles stuff. Marcus's Box - just Marcus's stuff.

    8. I store my items in a couple different doll sized cabinets and dressers.

Unfortunately, my set up is a bit backwards.. Lots of storage furniture like dressers, cabinets and chests... Not enough clothes for her to fill them. (I have a ton of doll clothes, just not all for BJD, and I'm clearing out most of my personal collection... So that leaves a lot of empty drawers.)

    9. I'm hoping to get a large trunk and put little compartments fitted inside to store clothes, shoes, wigs, eyes.

    10. I found a basket at a craft store with a hinged lid that fits all Tansy's clothes perfectly. I do have her living on an old fish tank stand though, and I'm working on a way to turn the under storage area into a closet for her :)

    11. For right now my boy only has a couple clothing items, so I store them in the box Lati sent his default outfit and wig in.

    12. lol I do the whole 'EVERYTHING STUFFED INTO A BIG BOX :O' thing XDDDD nothing neat or tidy ^^;

    13. Lesse - Jenova has his own wardrobe and it's big enough to keep alot of my crew's more extravagant clothing sets in it ->

      [badly lit pic ftw @_@/]

The rest of their stuff that doesn't fit into that thing is in a Steam Trunk I have [it's Samantha's AG one, left over from my AG days. Pre-dollfie]. Their shoes are all kept in other trunks I got from Ross, accessories and props are kept in similar trunks and all jewelry and the like they have are kept in a jewelry chest I got specifically for them ^^

    14. I pretty much stuff it all in the pockets of my double-carrier bag.. Though I try and fold them so they don't rinkle or anything :sweat

    15. That's awesome!

I store mine in dollheart boxes. A wardrobe would be cool.

    16. I dont have much really.. so I find that large ziplock baggies work just fine. Keeps everything nice and clean and dry, and they are easy to store. I had used those little chests that you find in craft stores.. But I just dont have enough room in my little appartment for them.

    17. I should probably get some form of storage bin to keep Hansel's stuff in. Right now all his clothes are stuffed in a messenger bag because a week after we return from Florida I'm still not unpacked. The only problem is that my room is so crowded already I have no space for any storage bins. For now I'll just have to tear everything out of the bag and leave it all over my bed when I bring Hansel places and don't feel like bringing his carrier. :/

    18. At the dollar store i found some very tiny craft clothes pins. Since I don't yet have very much clothes for my boy, I hung a string from wall to wall on built in pegs above my computer, and pinned all the clothes there like he hung them to dry. It's convenient for now but once he gets more clothes, I'll need to find tiny hangers because I did make a closet out of a converse shoe box. There is even a drawer and a pole for hanging.

    19. I store some in this cute valise case I found. I like it cause it's like a little suitcase. I'm working on a closet for my girls. But I do have a ton of clothing barbie from my childhood of course in a large plastic tub.

    20. I fold them nicely and put them in my converse shoe box xD
