1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I used to keep them in her box. Then in some doll furniture I have.

      But my sister bought me a vintage doll trunk for Christmas... So now she, her toys and clothing all go neatly in the doll trunk. With her dresses hanging on the wardrobe bar.

    2. all seames to be good ideas for me!!! this clothe are so big plus their shoes are big also and they take lots of space just like the doll lol

    3. I just have everything thrown into a giant tupperware tub. It's messy and unorganized, but it does the job. I had illusions when I first did it, that I was going to separate them by size and everything... but that never happened. XD

    4. I'm a bit OCD on clothes storage. ^^;; And tend to horde clothes.

      My tinies's clothes are in ziploc bags that I put in each of their own colored tins that I put on a shelf. XD;; My grandmother had given me two small trunks from Ross, I put all my accessories and small props in the bigger one and put all my extra tiny clothes that wouldn't fit into the tins, into the smaller trunk (My tinies have ziploc BAGS of clothes XD;; ).
      On my top of my desk I have two large plastic drawers that I have one drawer for MSD clothes and for SD clothes. All the clothes perspectively, are folded into quart sized airseald ziploc bags. For my more elaborate clothes, I have tissue papers folded into with my dresses and again airseald quart sized ziploc bags.

      If I really wanted to, I could attend every meet up in my state for the entire year and have none of my dolls repeat outfits. XD;;

    5. I put his clothes in his box....it's easier.

    6. not thrilled, but have to store mine in plastci stackable boxes, space limitations. I do tyr to put artist made clothes in a labled separate bag so i dont forget who made them.. I have severla doll trunks, packed with dolls I dont play with now.. maybe if I had less, more selective ..i cold figure out a better method..i'd like to have them all pinned up on teh wall soI can see them ALL everyday!

    7. My puki seems to have gained a mass of clothes and wigs (mostly my experiments in wig making and sewing, but I can't bare to throw any of it away!:sweat) So I keep all of her stuff in a plastic fishing-tackle box. It's great because it's got all these changeable compartments (one for eyes, another for magic items, shoes, hats, props/toys) I didn't realise how much I had hoarded until I sorted it out ^^;
      My littlefee is less lucky; her outfits and accessories are either crammed in my sewing box (as 'to do projects'), or stashed in her pink company box (since it's a really nice box and I'd hate to hide it away!).

    8. I received a box from Lati that had my doll's wig/clothes/string in it when I bought him, so for now all my doll's clothes are in that. I don't have many clothes yet, though, so I imagine soon I'll need to come up with something better.

    9. when i got my new cubboard with glass panels in front, i immediatly saved up 2 sections of it to put my doll's stuff my cousin even bought me a SD sized drawer for my boy^^

    10. I have a little suitcase for my tiny clothes, a larger plastic box for my msd clothes, and two separate plastic boxes for the wigs for various sizes. It's not the best solution since I often forget what I have, but it's easy to store away out of sight.

    11. I have one of those bookshelves made of cube-shaped cubbies behind my couch (which hangs out in the middle of the room, so that actually makes sense) and canvas bin-drawer-things that fit into the cubes on the bottom row. Outfits go in resealable plastic bags (I reuse the ones nicer doll outfits come in, or use ziplock bags) and into one bin. Wigs and shoes go in another bin. I store the wigs in nets with their tissue paper balls in them so they keep their shape, and most of the shoes go in a little cardboard box.

      I also have a plastic box with dividers in it that I use to keep eyes, spare eyelashes, s-hooks, and similar small doll-related things, and it goes in the shoes-and-wigs bin.

    12. At the moment I just have Niko's extra clothes lying on my dresser... he doesn't have much right now, but as I make more for him I would really like to get a doll-sized wooden trunk. The problem is, I have nooo idea where I could find one of those @.@

    13. I have little plastic drawers that I keep my girl's clothes in. It's quick and easy.

    14. I don't have much atm, so I keep my stuff in a big ziploc bag :D

    15. In a big purple plastic storage container. Inside there is an endless mass of plastic bags and little boxes holding indvidual items. Some stuff is stored in the dolly boxes too

    16. I only have one doll right now and his clothes are in his box (the one he came in).

    17. I have a cute box made from some type of bamboo.
      I store their shoes, clothes and all their need in there.^^

    18. Airwalk shoe boxes. XD

      I got a bunch of shoes from a relative a few holidays ago, and they're great. I have to fold some things, but it's nothing a little ironing or pressing between two books can't fix! They're labeled with permanent marker according to size. Pretty low-tech, I know, but it works and didn't cost me a thing.

      Only thing is, I'm accumulating more and more wigs, so I'm needing more and more shoe boxes. XD

    19. Let's see.

      Wigs: 2 sweater sized clear plastic bins SD, MSD & yo wigs
      Shoes: 1 shoebox size bin SD, msd shoes

      SD clothes: one long underbed container for the loli and big dresses. one regular underbed container for the rest. (now filled to busting)

      MSD clothes: one 3 drawer small container, one shoebox size plastic container

      Yo: one shoebox size container

      jewels: small cubic plastic container
      eyes: same
      hands feet etc: same

      >.<

    20. Right now, scattered all over my desk, but a friend of mine is supposedly going to swipe me a standing jewelry box that I can gut and make into a pretty wardrobe. :3
