1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you store your doll's clothes and shoes?

Dec 16, 2004

    1. I have little plastic boxes with lids that I can store on my bookshelf. I label them all up and try and keep different types of clothes together so that I always know where things are :)

    2. My boys' clothes are either in a EMS box I received some Dollmore clothes in, or in a drawer in my room (for the bigger ones that I don't want to fold, mostly jackets). I need to get something more permanent, seeing as the EMS box is full and I have more clothes on the way! xDD

    3. I have those little photo storage boxes that have patterns on them. and they have a place for labels in the front :3

    4. This is an older picture (I re-organised all those boxes on top and put them in my closet), but you get the idea:

I have 4 more of them now, which I keep downstairs.
I got them at The Container Store. Different doll sizes are in different tubs (Like one for Unoa, one for MSD, one for SD, etc.) Eyes are in a sectioned pill box, and wigs are in Zip-Locs in their own tub.

    5. I also use the plastic storage bins but I need more. I just don't have room right now for them so I'll be squeezing as much as possible into the one I already have.

    6. I just moved into a smaller home and dont have the room for the storage units I had before. I just bought a tall dresser (lingerie chest) that matches my bedroom furniture and it is all stored in there, without looking like I own stock in Rubbermaid!!!

    7. I made a small wardrobe for their clothes but it seems to get too small nw (again)!

    8. I've got a nice silver mesh box I got with stuff from the bodyshop in it last Christmas, it looks nice with a bow on top and it's big enough for now, but I've been hunting around antique shops and for metal doll cases/traveling trunks for their clothes, none I like enough yet. And I have a cool plastic and metal tie box to show off the shoes and boots. Both of those are good enough for clothes for one doll, but something tells me they won't be big enough for long. I guess everybody finds something that works, it's interesting to see all of the options and ideas.

    9. at the moment i keep mine in an ikea shoe basket thing but when i get too many for that i plan to 'attempt' to make a small wardrobe type thing. Not sure how i plan to do it but I will give it a go lol

    10. haha I use a suitcase xD Tenshi always makes me look like I'm moving out xDD

    11. I store Viki's outfit *cough* on his body >.<
But I'm in the process of makin-- I mean getting another made. Yay for mothers! XD
Then I will probably keep the other in his box :)

    12. Clear plastic containers with snap-on lids and the size sharpied on the side (SD, MSD, etc.) When the tub gets full it's time to consider some clearing-out. ;)

    13. I keep all my girl's stuff in her box (I keep her out all the time, so she doesn't need to in it). However...it's been getting harder and harder to get the box to close lately XD;;; If she gets any more spoiled, we'll have to come up with an alternate storage idea.

    14. I also use plastic storage bins. Each of them has one with their name on it for their own clothing, but I also have one with stuff that can be worn by any of them. ^^

    15. For SD clothes, I put it in a wooden basket.
and for tiny stuff like accessories, I put it in a SD size bag

    16. I put my doll's clothes in the same dresser I use to store my crafts. :)

    17. I use some boxes i have from orders i've received from anime shops for the clothes, shoes and boots are in their boxes, both from Mimiwoo, they're perfect for their size >o< I would like to have a wooden box for all of them, it would be more decorative too... Or a little dresser i've seen in a shop from Madrid, with tiny drawers *___* so cute!!!

    18. i keep them all in a big plastic box.

    19. I use Tupperwer containers for shoes and clothes, one for each doll. Wigs are all togheter in another big container. :)

    20. All of them are stuff in this one medium size box, considering my doll has only 2 wigs, 1 pair of shoes and a couple of shirts and pants and extra pair of eyes =.= not much item to deal with, will get a better storage once his wardrobe grows.
